Women's Day: The Founder, the Herstory, The Future
For over a century, Black Women in Churches across America gather annually to celebrate Women's Day to celebrate the contributions of Church women, praise the Lord, hear some good preaching and receive encouragement. Even though hundreds of thousands of women celebrate this day, most have no idea about the herstory of this day. Womanish Projects believes it's time to change that. Furthermore we need to reclaim its prophetic and movement building beginning as well as challenge its respectable roots. Join us Sunday July 25th at 4:00pm to discuss Women's Day:The Founder, the Herstory and the Future.
