I ran into Mr. Ingram earlier at a fraternity bbq. Aside from moving a little slower with the cane he looks good. He didn't recognize my face at first, but after I told him my name he knew exactly who I was.

He said, "I was your senior class advisor and you were one of my class officers". Yes sir!

I've been remissed in my duties of keeping this page updated. Nonetheless, the past few months has hit the Class of 82 kinda hard as we have lost at least 3 of our classmates. Rest in peace to Todd Shavers, Michelle Morrow and Joyce Kimbrough. Prayers and condolences to their families and friends.

Let us continue to keep each other and our families uplifted. Much love for our Beaver family, especially the Great Class of 1982!

Yesterday morning. I woke up pouring out some liquor for my homie. When my wife woke up I had to give her the bad news, and we cried, together.

I have so many stories about this dude, some I may never tell. When I asked him to be in my wedding, he didn't hesitate. When he told me he was moving to Panama, I said "Bruh, you don't have to come back for the wedding", he said, "Oh no, I'll be there". He arrived early, and offered his assistance on anything that we needed. Little did I know that would be my last time seeing him.

On behalf of the class of 82, I extend our love, condolences, prayers and uplift to Ann, and the rest of the Taylor family. Rest easy Ant!

First of all, I am glad to see so many post about this weekend and the comments about having a great time. Props again to the Committee for all of your hard work. As we get ready to bid farewell to each other I ask that we keep in mind Tim Jones comments about the importance of understanding that's there's no place like home.

One of things that I forgot to mention last night is that in addition to the class photo, the photographer took a lot of candid photos and he's going to make those available to us through a downloadable portal. When that is done, we will post that info to the website Patterson1982.com

For those who were able to attend it was great to see so many familiar faces having a good time enjoying each other's company. For those who were unable, we missed you and looked forward to seeing in the near future.

40th High School Class Reunion -

40 years ago today, we graduated from John H. Patterson Co-Op High School. This weekend we will celebrate that momentous occasion.

We are excited to see all those who will be attending, and hope that you are too. Even though those hallowed halls are no longer standing, Co-Op is a special place in the hearts and minds of many of us. It helped nurture us through our wonder years and played a part in making us the men and women that we are today.

Even without the building, Patterson will always be our home, and as you know, "There's No Place Home"

It's Official, Our 40 Year Reunion is sold out. The committee has been hard at work planning a great weekend and look forward to seeing those who registered there.

With that in mind, we are also mindful of the recent uptick in COVID cases, especially considering that we are all a part of a vulnerable group. Hopefully, each of you have taken the necessary steps to protect yourselves, your families and your friends. In addition, we will be providing mask and hand sanitizer, taking temperatures and encouraging social distancing as much as reasonably possibly.

We want to have a safe and enjoyable weekend.

Friday, August 5 - Meet and Greet @ Bar Granada, 6:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. - 5 W. Monument Ave, Second Floor, Dayton, OH 45402. There is a $10 cover charge per person if you have not registered for this event.

Alright Beavers, '82! We are in the last stretch and 62 classmates have paid to attend our 40th reunion, with 87 total attendees as of July 1.

We will more than likely have 100+ for the dinner, but time is of the essence.

If you want to attend the dinner remember that we must provide the caterer a head count by July 9.

There is still time to register but it’s running out, so please take care of this asap if you plan to attend. We need to finalize our numbers for food, gifts, etc. and don’t want anyone to miss out.

The planning committee for our 40th reunion has been hard at work for many months organizing an exciting program and trying to reach ALL our classmates to ensure no one misses the opportunity to attend.

Thank you to all the classmates who have registered so far. Your early commitment is greatly appreciated and has allowed us to finalize several details we know many of you having been eager to know.

Friday’s Meet and Greet will be held from 6-9pm at Bar Granada located at 5 W. Monument Ave. Your registration includes appetizers and cash bar.

Saturday’s Semi-formal Dinner Dance will be held from 5-9pm at the Presidential Banquet Center, 4548 Presidential Way, Dayton, OH 45429.
