🐥🐝🐰🦋SPRING MARKET DATES🐥🐝🐰🦋

I'm pretty sure I say this every year, but trying to choose whether spring shows or holiday shows are my favorite is like trying to pick a favorite kid. There's just so much to love about both!

Our spring shows are going to be good for the soul! Shake off winter, get a few friends together and dream about spring!

This is the perfect outing for a girl's day. Find uniquely upcycled vintage goods, thoughtfully crafted artisan pieces, trending handmade door hangers and wall art, garden accessories and delightful retro gifts. Of course, our vendors will have everything you are looking for to get ready for Easter and Mother's Day as well!

We've got two market to choose from!

🦋Up first APRIL 4-6 at the Warren County Fairgrounds in Lebanon. We are EXPANDING this event to include another building🙌🙌PTL.

🦋Then, we have a beautiful spring market planned for the Franklin Co. Fairgrounds in HIlliard Ohio. This charming little barn downtown is one of our favorite places to host, dont miss it! April 25-27.

Happiest New Year to all of you! ✨

New beginnings are a great time to make new introductions so here we go!

We are Andres and Kirsten Oviedo, owners at The City Mercantile and Crew & Co. . We host seasonal home decor markets a couple times a year and spend the rest of the time chasing our littles, packing online orders and enjoying Ohio small town life.

Every year, I make a tiny little side goal, normally focused on a skill or art I'd like to work on throughout the year, just to keep feeding my creative interests. One year, mastering word art, the next becoming a certified balloon artist, the next learning how to cook a pan sauce for any protein. This year? Upping my cut flower game. I'll keep you posted on my tiny patch of paradise this spring.

Andres' goals are simpler. He normally wants to upgrade vehicles, trailers and equipment for the events. I haven't asked what's next on his list but I'm feeling like a new forklift might be in my future. 😆Here we go 2025. Bring it.

As we get towards the end of 2024, there's a small part of me that says, "Thank God it's almost over."
All the wind that I felt in our sails as we set out to build our market early in the year vanished completely with two back to back family losses in the spring. My aunt, who for years was my right hand during market weekend, was suddenly gone and there hasn't been a day since that I haven't missed being able to depend on her creativity and feedback.
As the summer wore on, we felt the grating repetition of every small business' nightmare. Long-time friends and vendors shutting their doors for good, unable to make things work after literal decades of hard work and resilience. The economy was proving to be a more significant challenge than we expected and it affected our vendor family in the worst possible way.
And now it's Thanksgiving. 🦃
What a gift to be given an entire day to celebrate the blessings instead of the hardships!
I'm so grateful for my family, who flies from all over to work the events with us each time. Every day with you guys feels that much more special in light of our losses. I'm so thankful for and proud of our vendors, who despite the challenges continue to show up and work so hard. Andres and I see you. Your encouragement is so precious to us as we gear up for the 2025 season. We are so blessed to be surrounded by good friends, supported by great customers, and to live in a country where our market dreams can become a reality. We don't take that for granted.
Lastly but mostly, I'm grateful to God for His peace in every hard time. He has certainly shown Himself to us this year. We are grateful that He gives us purpose and meaning and hope to go on.
