One of the big bonuses of booking your wedding at Dayton Masonic Center is that we have so many amazing indoor and outdoor spaces for photography!

If you can’t get outside for photos, there are many rooms with unique features perfect for photos. Even our upper balcony allows you to go outside for photos without getting rained on. Having lots of options for photos on such a special day is important! 📸🙂🎥

We have sooooooo many locations that work wonderfully for wedding ceremonies, including our balcony!

The best part is that when the ceremony is over, your guests can easy walk to cocktail hour on the balcony as well. This works best for smaller guest counts, but it’s a great option.

Just look at that beautiful ballroom! ❤️😍❤️

We loved this beautiful neutral look in the ballroom as it's on trend for 2025. It's a slightly different take on the all white and green wedding trend of the last few years, and it looked lovely in the ballroom.

The lounge grouping used to frame the dance floor also helped define the dance area and will give dancers a break from dancing the night away.

We have several event spaces to host your cocktail hour (including outside on our iconic front steps), but the balcony surrounding the ballroom is the most popular. It's a convenient location for you guests to arrive and jump right into the fun, and it provides great views of the ballroom.

Often, our wedding couples, perform their first dance with all of their guests looking down from above before they head down to the reception.

Our Story

An iconic Dayton landmark, The Dayton Masonic Center offers elegance and grandeur from a bygone era, but with all the modern conveniences of today. Recently remodeled in 2018, The Masonic has added more elevators, updated ladies lounge, new bars, and more.

Around every corner, The Masonic surprises guests with unique rooms filled with hidden treasures like the Billiards Room, Library, or 1930’s Lounge. However, the two story tall Ballroom is what steals the show. Guests can enjoy cocktail hour on the Balcony overlooking the Ballroom, which is the perfect view for an impressive grande entrance or first dance.

The Masonic can accommodate seated dinners for up to 500 guests and cocktail receptions up to 1,000 guests. The Masonic also includes tables, chairs, some AV equipment, and ample free parking with all rentals.

A BIG change for 2019 events after June 1, 2019 is that clients may bring in their own alcohol to be served by Elite Catering. This is an estimated savings of $4000 - $6000 for events over 200 guests.
