We have some big news… The Foxtail Estate is now just another chapter in the history of 426 S. Beach Street.
It is bittersweet for us as we spent years of our lives restoring this 1875 home and transforming it into the gorgeous B&B and wedding venue we were also proud to call our home.
We had the opportunity to create so many beautiful unions, host so many travelers and created so many memories with family and friends. This was a truly special season of our lives, but now that we are a family of three, we are starting a new path.
We have sold the property and sadly the new owner will not be continuing with our brand or doing weddings, so please join us in saying goodbye to The Foxtail Estate.
We thank you endlessly for your support… For those that knew us as we started this journey, for those that helped us feel a sense of community in this crazy beach town, and, especially those who chose to start their Forever at Foxtail.
It may be the end of this chapter, but it’s the beginning of a beautiful new one!
No dream is too crazy if you have an amazing partner by your side.

Sorry I’ve been a little quiet on here, but it’s with good reason as we’ve had *a lot* going on…. We are thrilled to announce that the littlest fox will be joining us Earthside in just 3 short months!!!

Shout out to our favorite for these amazing snaps (taken a little while ago I *do* finally have a bump after not showing for the first 20 weeks haha) and if you’ll swipe to the end, you’ll find out what we’re having!

Let me tell you, the color of that cake by was a shock to everyone who attended our zoom reveal (except for my mom who is apparently psychic now and even knew I was pregnant before we told her we were expecting 🤣) Also, of note, it was a perfectly normally shaped cake until Yuri smashed it with a Ukrainian sword hahaha

Thanks for your continued support and giving me a little grace over these past 6 months and please continue to do so because making a human is EXHAUSTING and I’m not quite the super-force of energy I used to be, but we just can’t wait to meet Baby M!

Do you want to help Ukrainians but just don't know how? Are you feeling helpless, stressed and depressed about what's going on there?

This is a personal message from Amira and Yuri Melnichenko, the
Owners of The Foxtail Estate. Yuri was born and raised in Ukraine and we still have family members and friends there. We are absolutely heartbroken witnessing what is happening to such a beautiful country that for many years was home and is still in heart and spirit. This is obviously an extremely difficult time and we want to do anything we can to support the Ukrainian people going through such horror.

We have organized an online fundraiser for the Ukrainian evacuees and some amazing business owners have joined us in donating prizes in hopes to increase our donations. Our family has a relationship with someone who works with the Polish embassy who is organizing DIRECT DISTRIBUTION of supplies in Poland to refugees crossing the border. We feel that this is the best way to get funds to the people who need it most and trust completely that these funds will be used appropriately. They are making care packages with essentials and putting them directly in the hands of those who are lucky enough to make it across, but, after leaving everything behind, are empty-handed. Please donate what you can. We have a lot of great prizes and also a category for those that just want to donate. We want to get the funds to them as quickly as possible so we can help as many people as we can in these dark days... It is winter, they have been walking for miles, their home is burning, and they have absolutely nothing left to their names. Please share this with everyone you know! We have finally found a way to help that we KNOW is making a difference and I know many of you have big hearts and want to help, so thank you, thank you, thank you!

Absolutely impossible to believe this was 9 years ago today!!! I said yes on a beautiful day in winter park on what was supposed to be the end of the world according to the Mayan calendar, when Yuri said if it’s the end of the world he wants to spend it with me and, if it’s not the end of the world, he wanted to spend the rest of it together 🥺🥰

Fun fact, he told EVERYONE CLOSE TO US the exact time and location it was going to happen so I couldn’t excitedly share the news, literally everyone said who did you call first it was supposed to happen at 12 and it’s 12:30 🤣🤣

11 years together, 9 years with a ring on it, 7 years as Mrs. Melnichenko, 4 years at The Foxtail Estate making love happen for a living 🥰
