The News-Journal Center is the performing arts venue for Daytona State College

The News-Journal Center will be closed from Wednesday, November 26 at noon through Sunday, November 30 for Thanksgiving. We will reopen Monday, December 1 at our normal hours.

Come join us on Wednesday, December 3 and Thursday, December 4 at 7 P.M. for this delightful annual tradition at the News-Journal Center. Enjoy holiday classics from our Symphonic Band, yuletide tunes from our Choral Program and a few surprises thrown in along the way. Admission is free, but a ticket is required.

In the spirit of the season, please bring a donation of non-expired canned food to support the Falcon HOPE Center at Daytona State College

This is a FREE event!

Tickets must be picked up IN-PERSON at the News-Journal Center Box Office. Ticket limit is 6 per person.

This whimsical show follows two great friends – the cheerful, popular Frog and the rather grumpy Toad – through four fun-filled seasons. They celebrate and rejoice in the differences that make them unique and special through one hour of song. Part vaudeville, part make believe... all charm.

Come for just the show or add on a delicious holiday buffet for a special treat!

Show Only: Friday, December 12 at 10:30 a.m. and Saturday, December 13 at 1:00 p.m.
Tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for children under 12 and Volusia and Flagler County students. The event is free to DSC students, faculty and staff with a College ID.

Holidazzle Dinner & Show: Friday, December 12 at 6:00 p.m. and Sunday, December 14 at 1:00 p.m.
Tickets are $50 for adults and $25 for children under 12.

On this Veterans Day, we honor their sacrifice, reflect on their courage, and say thank you.

Tickets for our annual "Gift to the Community" concert are available TODAY!

Tickets are free, but they go fast! Performances will be on December 3 and 4 at 7:00PM. Tickets are limited to 6 per person, and are ONLY AVAILABLE IN PERSON.

This Sunday, November 2 at 2:30 PM, experience the power of music as it paints landscapes of feeling and imagination in “A Journey of Emotional Sounds”. Featuring compositions by Sibelius, Elgar, Beethoven and more, this show will immerse you in a world of feeling. Guest Violinist, Dr. Alvaro Gomez, will be performing a special rendition of the Tzigane Rapsodie by Ravel. Don’t miss this afternoon of entertainment.
