This year we are introducing an Rx division to help make the Intermediate division more competitive for true intermediate athletes and to provide a better, more fun challenge for those athletes who are not quite Elite. Fun, Fitness, and Competition at the beach!

The Bacon Beatdown is Central Florida’s LARGEST fitness Competition and has been since its inception in 2013. If you love fitness, competing, and hanging out with your friends, all in the epic setting of a giant expo center filled with vendors and fitness fans, we’ve got something for you! Oh, and did we mention it’s right across the street from Daytona Beach in June?

This year, we have 14 individual divisions and 8 3-person same-sex team divisions, with ages ranging from 8-10 up to GrandMaster’s 50+, and everything in between. Beginners and Kids will have 3 workouts and a floater on Friday, and all other divisions will have 6 workouts over Saturday and Sunday, including an all new wod on the beach. We strive to have balanced, fun, traditional programming that allows every athlete to show the skills, strength, and motor they’ve been working on.

For the 7th year in a row, the event will be held in the Daytona Beach Ocean Center. This venue is huge -- and it will be full of things to see and do. Vendor village has a smorgasbord of fitness related booths for anything you could need or want -- clothes, shoes, supplements, equipment, massages, therapy, and more! There will be bounce houses for the kids, food (and drink) vendors for the adults, and spectating areas for three workout stages.

Our focus is, and always will be, on the athlete experience and the community. We strive to make The Bacon Beatdown a yearly destination for gyms and athletes in Central Florida. Come join us for a fitness and fun filled weekend at the beach this June!
