The 16th annual Plein Air Paint Out is NEXT WEEKEND in De Smet! 🎨🖌

There will be painters out and about creating beautiful pieces of art so be on the lookout for them. Lots of fun activities for youth and adults to do so check out their website for a list of events. Plus on Sunday, everyone is welcome to come check out all the pieces created over the weekend at the Wet Sale!

We have the volunteer sheet for the pageant on the desk. Please stop in and pick a time to help the pageant out. The pageant can't happen without the help of people from the community and surrounding areas! Thanks to all of the people who volunteer in all if the things that keep us so proud to call De Smet our home town!!!

The pool is getting closer every day to opening! The broken part has been replaced and we are now able to circulate water and regulate chemicals! Clarification on lesson dates-they are in July 8-18 and August 5-15. Lessons run Monday through Thursday those weeks with rain dates on the Fridays. Levels 1 and 3 at 5pm, 2 and 4 at 5:30pm and levels 5 and 6 at 10am.

The deadline for signing up for this is the 17th. Our Wellness Coalition Kids have been working hard to make this intergenerational experience as meaningful as they remember it being when they were young. What a fun thing for your kids to experience this summer!

Based on responses to my earlier post, I will have sign up sheets on my desk! There will be 8 pickleball classes, both morning and evening options, May 13-16. Sign up for classes the first day and come back for open play a the following sessions! There will be a $10 fee for the class. Water aerobics will happen in the morning, time TBD based on instructor. Softball in the evening or on the weekend, whenever everyone can get together!
