It's going to be a magical weekend, and we hope you and your family will join us! Check out the event lineup for this Friday and Saturday in Downtown Griffin:
🎄Enjoy an evening of wine tasting, candlelight shopping, live music, free carriage rides, and more this Friday at the Mistletoe Night Market, presented by The Cotton Mill. The first 40 families to arrive at 6pm will get to decorate a gingerbread house with Santa. This free, family-friendly event will occur at Historic City Hall, 201 East Solomon Street, with ASharpAffair performing holiday R&B starting at 7:30pm in the Park at Sixth.
🎄Santa and Mrs. Claus will travel around the City on a fire truck with Griffin Fire-Rescue on Saturday starting at noon. This year you can track when Santa will arrive in your area. The link will be posted later this week and go live Saturday morning.
🎄2nd Saturday Merry & Bright, Featuring The Hometown Holiday Illuminated Parade will take place downtown at 6:30pm with over 100 parade entries decorated in Christmas lights. Come downtown early to enjoy shop specials, food trucks, and activities on Solomon Street. The parade route is Broad and Solomon Street between 5th and 8th Street. Street closures will begin at 4pm. Please be cautious when traveling downtown during this time.
