Unfortunately, due to the rising costs of production, and, well, every damn thing, we have decided to not put on a large scale street festival like last year's. We had such an amazing experience, and the community was more than supportive.
As far as finances, we came out SLIGHTLY in the black, after ALL bills were paid, and EVERY SINGLE MUSIC ACT was paid. That's not easy to do. I actually paid some folks who weren't expecting to get paid, but we ended up able, and felt it only right.
No single person on this team collected a dime of pay for their insane loyalty and efforts. In some cases, some of us paid out of our own pockets to produce this.
We really have built something incredible here, and hope to possibly expand on it in the future, through promotion of other community events...but for now, we need to take a step back.
Stay tuned for updates on any events, as this is not goodbye.

It wasn't perfect, but we made lemonade with the HUGE bag of lemons that was dropped upon us. Thanks, SO MUCH for showing up, Decatur. For the amount of things I hear about our hometown, you absolutely proved the haters wrong. Thank you. I love my community.
I'll apologize about the Porta Potties right now. We made an effort early Saturday to reach out to the business taking care of them, but let's be honest, it's a holiday weekend. I hold no ill will against them, as they finally returned my call, but it was already to late in the evening to worry about it. We will have this fixed before next year. Because yes, we will be doing this again next year!!!
We've already started taking notes.
We would like suggestions, but PLEASE, not on this post. I invite you to private message the page with concerns, and feedback....because we're creating this FOR YOU!

🌧️ IMPORTANT UPDATE: Downtown Decatur Music Festival 🌧️
Due to inclement weather, they have made some changes to keep the fun going! The bands have moved **indoors** to keep the music alive—check out the updated lineup and times below. 🎶
But the outdoor excitement doesn’t stop! Head to Central Park to grab a FREE haircut by Lockhart’s 💈, explore unique arts and craft vendors🎨, and enjoy one of the four delicious food truck options! 🍔🌮
🍺 Beer and Pepsi will still be available, but please note they are **CASH ONLY**. Don’t worry—there’s an ATM on site for your convenience. 💵
Don’t let the rain delay you from having a good time! Come out, support our local vendors, and enjoy a great day at the festival! 🎉
