Hello friends. Well, the moment we all knew was coming has arrived. Our last day of operations will be Sunday March 30th. We know this is sooner than expected but the good news is we still have two weeks to blow it out. Below is a partial list of events (more to be announced soon) that will include St. Patrick’s Day, Shamjam Shuckfest and our final Sunday Funday with the OG Sunday jam band Francisco Vidal, John Driskell Hopkins and many other friends. We hope to see all your smiling faces over the next two weeks so we can toast your friendship over the last 18 years. If you have worked here, played music here, played trivia or poker here, been a regular (or even a semi regular) please know that Talley, Stephen and I consider you family. 48 hours ago, we announced that the LAST DAY for the Rockin Road Trip would be March 15th & then we were both extreeeeemely sad. We just don't want to give up on this unique & unforgettable venue! That announcement triggered an avalanche of unexpected things:

1-Many of you reached out to share how much you love the & to ask if we could somehow find a way to pause & not just say goodbye...

2-The universe sent a special opportunity our way via the SweetWater 420 Festival & we are grateful to tell you that the bus & the good times will roll for least one more month!!

3-We're developing sponsorship packages to (hopefully) generate income. We cannot bear the burden of the expensive insurance on our shoulders alone. And if we can make those packages actually work, we will restructure the 'Party On The Bus' options for a Win/Win/Win situation!

In conclusion, our CLOSING announcement was premature, but we are DEF asking for your help. If you have any contacts or ideas to help us keep the dream alive, please share them asap!

Way back in the 1970s, the Fabulous Fox Theatre in Atlanta was threatened with demolition, but the community responded with a very successful 'SAVE THE FOX' campaign. We are only slightly joking here: Who knows how to create a 'SAVE THE ROCKIN ROAD TRIP' campaign? Music, Beer & a Busload of Fun bcuz !

After months/years of agonizing over it, Danny & I have decided that we need to shut it down. We have soo much passion for the & the funky little business we have built to celebrate LIFE while supporting local musicians & local breweries... but we can no longer deny the writing on the bus wall. This business has never been profitable & we just can't continue to throw good money after bad. If anyone has any ideas that we have somehow overlooked, we would love to hear from you but barring that, our last sleepless night was last night & our last paying customers will be on the bus on SATURDAY, March 15th...

For the first time ever, we are transporting a crew of approximately 20 DOGS & their owners to the St. Patrick's Day parade in Atlanta... Talk about a moment of synchronicity!

Rockin Road Trip is kinda like our child & we've loved every single moment of it but the reality is that 8 years is more than enough time to make a go of it... No matter how you try, some dreams just don't come true. And the political climate today & for the next 4 years is causing extreme anxiety ... It's def not easy but it just feels like the time is right to say goodbye...
