Might be my favorite kind of dinner party - and certainly my favorite display yet. Thanks for the help, and the fresh baked lemon cookies!
The most perfect summertime breakfast: fresh Georgia peaches (they are hard to find this year!), skyr from (currently obsessed) and our Coconut Granola (aka breakfast crack).
Mother Nature does not disappoint us travelers. The power of our planet is nothing short of remarkable!
Its been said that this stuff is dangerously addictive. Dishing out Coconut Granola this week - sweetened only with honey and perfectly salted and spiced. Gluten free, loads of nuts and seeds, and yes, it’s kind of like crack. Once you start it’s hard to stop…
Rang in the New Year after preparing this ‘sandwich station’ spread for some of my favorite longtime clients. It truly is a pleasure to prepare food for people you enjoy, in a beautiful kitchen, for a wonderfully happy holiday. So much gratitude for everyone that we cooked for this year: clients old and new, friends and family. Can not wait to see what 2023 has in store for all of us. Happy New Year!

Some days you don’t cook at all!
Party season continues! Lots of cheese involved, hot buffet items (not pictured), like mini crab cakes, parmesan chicken, Tuscan Pork Roast and Potato Gratin. Switched gears for the next party to Lobster Rolls, Smashed Walnut and Pear Salads and (no pics) Beef Tenderloin with Caramelized Onion Tarts. Whew! We break for a few days and then get back at it at the end of next week.
Holiday party season has begun! Kicked off this busy season with a Not Your Average Cheese Board, Shaking Beef and Ginger Lime Sea Bass. It’s not easy to snap a good pic when you’re plating and serving 16 people…
Not your average ‘buffet’. Loved putting together this spread for a 50th birthday party over the weekend. Looking forward to the holiday party season this year!
Another fabulous food moment. Pizza tasting like none other. 3 different types of crust with varying levels of yeast and rest time/5 different combinations of toppings. Not a bad birthday lunch for .alquadrato
When in Rome… or Tuscany.
Sometimes you need a break from the hustle and bustle, even while on vacation. This garden grows amidst church ruins bombed in WW2. So nice to have this bit of peaceful retreat.
Its been a long few months, with a high school graduation, a bunch of rock band performances and lots of lawns mowed, a ton clients with full happy bellies, and so many ads aired on the radio. We are ready for this vacation!
On a day as beautiful as today, you just have to grill it. Love the flavor that grilling imparts on a vegetable you wouldn’t normally put on the grill.
One of the best parts about my job is the flexibility to make my own schedule. Every year I set aside a few days to help a lovely older Jewish woman prepare for Passover. We make all the traditional dishes-chicken soup with matzo balls, various kugels, meringues, nut cakes, meatballs, brisket, etc working from ages old recipes tucked away in a special book she keeps just for this holiday. It’s some of my favorite time all year in the kitchen as we catch up on each other’s year and prepare for these special days ahead when her family and friends will come from near and far to celebrate. I’m already looking forward to next year in her kitchen.
Spring break is here! How do you pack for a beach vacation? A sweet family requested a few meals so they are not spending their vacation shopping and cooking. We set them up with Salted Coconut Granola with berries and yogurt, French Toast Bread Pudding for breakfasts, Brie and Fig Sandwiches (thanks for the best sourdough ever!), Spring Veggie Farro Salad for lunches and Crab Cakes with Roasted Corn Tartar Sauce and Baked Ziti for dinners. Vacation cooler is packed!!
A beautiful day for a birthday party! Started the night with this huge grazing board - before bringing out the Nashville Hot Chicken Sliders, Crab Cakes, Meatball Parm Sliders and Spring Vegetable Farrow Salad. Not pictured here - the assist from and bartender for the evening .
Thanks for the shoutout today!

Slow roasted Tuscan rubbed pork roast. Loads of herbs and spices and a tangy balsamic glaze (thank you for the barrel aged balsamic!) and then hours in a low oven make for a hearty, flavorful and tender dish. Paired with Parmesan crusted broccoli.
What does your Taco Tuesday look like? This taco salad is chock full of flavor and nutrients, and no dairy or gluten. Al Pastor taco chicken (thank you ), charred pineapple, cilantro relish, veggies, pickled radish, sweet potatoes and avocado lime crema.
This Aleppo Pepper Pork Roast was a great way to start the new year - definitely a repeat dish for this client.
Meat. Cheese. Herbs. Bread. Delicious long run recovery treat in one easy to consume package. Paired beautifully with soft scrambled eggs and slow roasted tomatoes.
Oh yeah! Dinner is ready. An Italian red sauce classic with a few twists - spaghetti and meatballs (super secret ingredients in those) with a chunky veg marinara. This week it's on a client menu and who knows... maybe next week it will be for our Supper Club.
Thanksgiving orders fulfilled! So thankful for wonderful clients who allow me to fill their bellies with some of our family favorites. Knowing that they will be sitting down at a table with family and friends and enjoying Pear Chutney (my favorite), Orange Cranberry Sauce (my sister's recipe!), Pumpkin Spiced Nuts (a staple in my SIL's house), Wine Glazed Shallots, and Spiced Caramel Sauce fills my heart.
