This is one of the annual fundraisers to support The Community Center of South Decatur (CCSD) non-profit board the owns and maintains The Solarium at Historic Scottish Rite with a mission to engage, support and host community experiences.

Looks like we are going to have another epic fall Saturday! 🍁🍂

Join us for the 3rd annual Decatur BBQ Fest on Saturday, Oct. 26. This year's free festivities will feature food and drink for sale, live music, and family fun. All proceeds benefit CCSD and the Solarium.

Decatur BBQ Fest will take place from 12-6 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 26, at Harmony Park and Ford’s BBQ in Oakhurst. The event is free and will feature food and drinks from various vendors.

This was a first for us- Amy and Kyle got married across the street from us right before our Porchfest set. Naturally, we invited them over for a first dance.

The Community Center of South Decatur (CCSD) grant program is now OPEN! The grants are funded by CCSD & Solarium fundraising events held throughout the year.

The board welcomes applications from organizations that contribute to the quality of life in the City of Decatur. The deadline for applications is October 30, 2024.

We are so excited getting ready for one of our most loved community events and fundraiser; the 3rd annual Decatur BBQ Fest!

Save the Date, Saturday, October 26 from Noon-6pm in Harmony Park.

Featuring FREE entry, several of your favorite local BBQ restaurants, Kids Zone sponsored by Color Wheel Studio, Live Music, Deep South Wrestling performances, chicken wing eating contest, silent auction, raffle, vendor market place and more!

And yes, you read that correctly, there will be wrestling!

🎶Jazz Night Volunteers 🎶

The Solarium is looking for a few community volunteers to help set up and break for down for Jazz Nights, every Thursday in September. This is the perfect opportunity for high school students looking to get community service hours (5hrs /night). Duties include setting up and breaking down chairs and tables, emptying trash at the end of the night. All while enjoying the great music!

September 19
September 26
