Working in events usually means we’re working feverishly, creating everything out of nothing in mere days (or hours). Running a business more or less requires nonstop attention on the “right now” and the plans for the future. It’s equal parts awesome and exhausting. I’m grateful for the times where I can slow down, recenter & refuel! For me, this spring looks like:
Not over flowing my schedule with meetings & obligations
Prep work for our current events getting done ahead of schedule
Reorganizing & spring cleaning our virtual and physical work spaces
Laying out our business plans and goals for 2025
In the midst of the endless to-dos & lots of shiny objects it can be hard to make the space & there are certainly seasons where it’s just not possible. But for me it’s an absolutely necessary part of being a creative and business owner. 🌱🌷
I literally smelled these daffodils in the store and could not resist taking them home. I’m craving spring and anything bright lately!
Honestly I don’t have flowers at home as often as you may think, but when I do just a few little somethings for the mantle, side table and in the bathroom are the perfect additions. It can be simple!
