Marlow Motorsports began in February of 2015 when David Marlow followed his dreams and purchased an 80's Monte Carlo Street Stock. We primarily run at Farmer City Raceway and venture out to other tracks when we can.


2015: Limited Schedule in a Street Stock
2016: Moved to a Pro "Crate" Late Model
Finished 8th in Track Points at Farmer City Raceway!!!
2017: Ran Farmer City Raceway Full time and Sp

oon River Speedway Part time finishing 6th in Track Points at FCR and 10th in Points at Spoon River.
2018: Shawn Diggs took over behind the wheel finishing 2nd in track points at Farmer City Raceway
2019: Shawn Diggs Continued to Run the Marlow Motorsports Entry.

Marlow is in the shop working hard on getting “Flipper” ready for the Gateway Dirt Nationals! Shifter levers aren’t quite to his liking yet so jumping back under to make some adjustments. He’s ahead of schedule with setup, so there should be pleanty of time to fine tune daily!

In racing, there’s no such thing as being “done” with the car. Shop time is invaluable to continue improving!

Excited to see the extension and excited to be headed back to the Gateway Dirt Nationals this December for our 4th overall attempt. (1 with Tegan Evans Racing and 2 with David Marlow to date)

It’s no secret we’ve been struggling this year, but there’s a lot of racing left to be had and this event has been a fun one to partake in!

The Nationals will return in 2025, 2026 and 2027! We cannot thank our amazing fans, competitors, teams & staff enough for their support.

Our Story

Marlow Motorsports began in February of 2015 when David Marlow followed his dreams and purchased an 80's Monte Carlo Street Stock. David ran a limited schedule with the Street Stock in 2015 where he gained experience racing on dirt. At the end of 2015, David purchased a 2015 Peirce Late model chassis and built a Pro late model to run in 2016. In his inaugural year in the crate late model, David had many struggles but continued to improve as the season went on. David and the team continued into 2017 with the knowledge and experience they gained for a great season! At the end of the 2017 season, David was severely injured in a motorcycle accident. While David continues to recover, Shawn Diggs will race for Marlow Motorsports in 2018. We primarily run at Farmer City Raceway and venture out to other tracks when we can.
