One of our favorite things about Summer is that we have more time to do things that we love! Just dropped two flower classes now live on our site!

This year we are thinking of our minis and hosting an extra special class for kids! All ages are welcomed based on parents discretion. Though, kids should be able to handle basic skills like cutting, listening to instruction and hands on creating. We recommend ages 6 and up!

Funny story… we had multiple breakdowns the night of this wedding. Certain venues require you are off property by a certain time. Since our guys got stuck at another breakdown a little longer than expected, I had to show up and put in some muscle 💪🏼! I carried this massive installation all the way out of the venue grounds to be outside of the gate before close time

Yes, this piece was gorgeous. And I’d love to just look at is as just that. Couldn’t help but to think of the struggle carrying this thing alone soon as I saw this photo 🤣

We are often asked if there is a benefit in hiring us for both planning and floral design services. To be honest, at times, I’m e been stumped on exactly how to answer that question. Though I know there are many benefits to planner/floral designer in one, I know couples are usually referring to wether or not there is a financial bonus.

The truth is - yes, we do try to help our couples meet their budgets while still executing their design vision. But that doesn’t necessarily mean we are fulfilling a floral contract that’s way under budgeted.

This photo is a reminder of why that planner/floral designer duo is a bonus package. On wedding day, I had an extra designer tray and though this floor floral piece was not included in the contract, I quickly redesigned the tray I had and added a floor statement piece to the head table. This worked for multiple reasons:

1. From working my clients on the planning side, I knew the couple trusted me to make this call and enhance their head table with this additional piece

2. I brought additional buckets for floral stems from their recipe because, hey, that’s what happens when we love our couples and want to splurge a little extra on them

3. Not only do I want them to be happy but I wanted the photos to be extra beautiful so we added above and beyond the recipe to the arrangements

Not that we don’t do these things as well when we are only hired on the floral side. We do! Though when we work with a couple and really get to know them through helping plan their big day, we are so much more comfortable to make decisions and control the entire outcome of the day without limitations we may have if we had not been involved in various conversations along the way!

Moral of the story - if your planner can also design your wedding and then execute that design in house, it only gives us so much more control over the outcome as we are not depending on other vendors to execute the floral vision ✨
