So sorry to say, but here at Bittersweet Blessings Farm we have NO pumpkins this year.
It started off very wet and went downhill from there.
Hospitalizations, medical issues and still 2 impending surgeries, there was just no way we could factor in a pumpkin crop this year.
We will be back with a plethora of our famous $3.00 pumpkins again next year!! Be well and enjoy all that autumn brings.

🍎🍏Do you make the best Apple Pie in Wisconsin?

If you think so, then prove it-for a good cause. This FREE annual contest is sponsored by Bittersweet Blessings Farm at the Deerfield Apple Festival on September 15, 2024.

Registration is free, and after the judging is complete, and awards have been presented, the pies are auctioned off with all proceeds going to the Deerfield Food Pantry. To date, this fundraiser has generated several thousands of dollars to the food pantry serving eastern Dane County.

Have some fun, earn some bragging rights, enjoy a day on the farm.

Quite possibly the only place you can get Fresh Apple Cider Donuts in May!
We will be making our famous apple cider donuts for the Market Expo next Sunday.
Because we only use our own cider in the donuts, this will be a limited run. We're expecting to be able to make around 2000 donuts before we run out of cider.

Ever wanted to ride a camel? New Beginnings Ranch out of South East Wisconsin will be bringing a FREE PETTING ZOO, camel rides, and pony rides to the farm!

Most of their animals are given a second chance at life and give kids a great opportunity to experience these beautiful creatures up close!

Many times, we just need to be in the presence of horses to feel a sense of well-being, peace, freedom and unconditional love.

Kim Lex and her lovely horse Ellie will demonstrate a very unique healing and self-discovery modality called Equine Gestalt Coaching. Using their combined wisdom and intuition Coach Kim and her equine partner Ellie will guide and audience volunteers though an interactive experience. No riding or horse knowledge is required.

Demonstrations will be going on at both 10:00 and 11:00 in the Orchard at AppleFest!

With over 200 vendors, 7 food trucks, live music, a magician, and lots of free activities, I think everyone had a good time.
