Position:
Venue coordinator/representative for wedding events

Job requirements include:
• Thursday evenings
• Weekends (Friday/Saturday/Sunday)
• Friendly and professional personality, with a passion for hospitality
• Flexibility in job hours

Job responsibilities include:
• Open/close venue
• Help coordinate wedding rehearsals and ceremonies as needed (cue processionals, help guests find their seats etc.)
• Minimal cleaning of venue (set-up bride/groom suites, vacuum floors, wipe counters, restock bathrooms, take out trash etc.)

It was 2 years ago today that Jim and I made the journey to Pennsylvania to pick up our 125 year old pews. It was a fun, exhausted and unusual drive home. We were stop at gas stations, pictures on the highway as we drove and even was interviewed by a lady at a hotel we stayed at! It didn't rain all the way home until we pulled them into our barn. I would say that's pretty lucky.
Overall they are at home in our chapel. I thought you all might enjoy the story of them.

We’re looking for a parking attendants and event set-up team members for the summer! (With the potential to continue into the Fall!)

Requirements:
• Weekends (Friday/Saturday/Sunday)
• Local to Defiance/Pleasant Hill Chapel (within 15 minutes)
• Flexibility in job hours
• You would likely come to set up chairs and tables earlier in the day, help direct parking, go home for a few hours, and then come back to tear down at the end of the day
• Willingness to (mostly) work outside
• Ability to lift and set up tables and chairs (max of 30 pounds)
• Ability to confidently and politely talk to guests and give direction with parking in our lot

Pay is $20/hour
