This first Monday of 2025 has me so excited! Sitting down with a list of business to-do’s as we catch up after the holidays. This week includes finalizing price quotes, consultations with two 2026 brides (!!!), starting tax prep, and beginning an exciting business update. I might not have my hands on flowers very often during the winter months, but still lots of work being done over here at Frances Floral Design!
So in the meantime we’ll enjoy this elegant bouquet shot by 🤍

I started my first job in the flower world 12 years ago this fall. And I think I might be more in love with them than ever. I never tire of the many varieties to be found, the hundreds of color palette options, and the art of pulling them all together in a design that is one of a kind. I still squeal when I pull out that perfect garden rose or bundle of fragrant sweet peas. Maybe it’s because a flower’s life is so short, making them unique and special that I am continually excited by their possibilities and beauty. All that to say, 12 years in and I still get butterflies looking at images like this 😍

I don’t typically choose black and white photos to portray my work… because flowers just look best in color. But these images from Kennedy & Chase’s wedding just stood out to me as I scrolled through their gallery! Loved being a part of this sweet June wedding and getting to flower for our friends 🤍

Our 2024 season is nearly over but the inquiries for next year are rolling in!

We will ALWAYS try to repurpose ceremony florals. Because look at this gorgeous deconstructed arch moved as the back drop for the head table! Could not have been more perfect for Betty and Bryan’s wedding day ✨

It can be tricky depending on logistics but we will do our best to think through different options and placements to make it work. Because we all want to get the most out of your beautiful wedding flowers!

This week is filled with spreadsheets between finalizing flower orders and making up 2025 price quotes… being a florist includes many jobs that don’t include actually having our hands on flowers. To be honest they are not my favorite things to do but it’s all a part of the job. And it makes me love the days of designing bowls of flowers like this even more ✨

Statement installations are my absolute favorite and this tent entrance was no exception. I will always recommend trying to work at least one installation into your floral budget as it is a detail that everyone will notice, talk about, and photograph 👌🏼
