We want to give a big thank you to all our volunteers that dedicated their time to help make The Del Rio Chamber Commerce Annual Wild Game Dinner & Gun Raffle a success this past Saturday, we couldn't have done it without YOU!

Volunteers help the Del Rio Chamber of Commerce serve our city at a greater capacity all year long, and for that we are grateful for the many that have come through our doors lending a helpful hand and attitude to serve.

Our girls had a very busy weekend and were honored to Uber Santa to the mall for his big arrival in their beautiful float their parent worked so hard on last week for the 2023 Christmas Parade they received Holidazzle Float Award (most festive float)

The Brown Plaza Association and Our Royalty are joining forces with the Val Verde and Kinney County Cancer Task Force, Del Rio - Ciudad Acuna Cotrina CHIC - Community Health Improvement Coalition - Del Rio for a hair drive. We will host it from August 16- October 9,2023. Currently we are also inviting other hair dressers and barbers to join and clip for the cause. We have official signage to deliver to your place of business if you would like to be listed as an official Ponytails for Love Ambassador. Today was a very proud and exciting day for us! The reopening of our Plazita! We would like to thank the City of Del Rio for making this event and the restoration possible! We had been wanting this for several years and we are so happy to say it’s done and our events will be back at our home the Brown Plaza!

This evening we presented 2 Del Rio High School Graduates with our yearly scholarships and recieption we would like to thank HEB for sponsoring the dinner tonight.

These 2  recipients not only help in the community but they have a total of 30 hours each that they have dedicated to serve to our organization. We would like to congratulate Nyla Garza who will be attending Texas Tech University and Jacob Cowan who will be attending Texas A&M University and thank them for their hard work and dedication! We wish you nothing but the best in this new chapter of your life!
