Here in Deland Florida we set up a water slide for a birthday party. A pretty girl named Shy was one of the party guests. Shy had never slid down a big inflatable water slide before so she was so excited to do so for the first time. She climbed up the slide with great enthusiasm and excitement. Then standing at the top of this 16 foot tall monster of a water slide she started to get some butterflies in her stomach, along with some 2nd thoughts in her head.

Alexia, Shy's older cousin saw that Shy was have trouble making the plunge, so she tried to console her with not much success. Even after she explained how much fun the slide was and that Shy was going to land in a fun pool at the bottom Shy was not convinced. Alexia decides to show her how to go down so Shy could see how much fun it was.

With Shy still at the top of the slide with no signs of moving it was time for daddy to step in. Jason Shy's dad, tried some of the same tactics as Alexia. He explained she would be so happy once she went down the slide and how much fun she would have. Jason also demistrated by going down the water slide himself. Still it was as if Shy was glued to the top of the water slide.

Daddy was not giving up. He headed back up the inflatable slide and talked Shy into letting him lower her down the slide so it would be like going down a small slide. Shy agreed, yaaaay!! Well check out the photo of Shy in the pool, that beautiful smile says it all. Shy loved the water slide after she overcame her fear. So happy she went for it!

In case you did not already guess this, I tell you, Shy was nonstop on the water slide after that. We lost count of how many times she went up and down the slide. So proud of her and happy she had a good time.
