We are sad to announce that The Dreka Theater and Event Venue will be closing our doors permanently. We will be honoring all of our current commitments and contracts through the end of this year, but will not be booking any additional events. We thank everyone who has spent time with us and celebrated special events with us. ❤️

Come to the Dreka this Friday and/or Saturday evening to hear the Volusia Community Symphony present A Night on Broadway. Doors open at 6:30pm. Tickets are on sale through Eventbrite for $15.00 or $20.00 at the door on the night of the event. Tickets are nearly sold out so act quickly! The Dreka Theater is a Downtown DeLand Historic Venue located in the heart of an award winning Mainstreet Community. Originally, The Dreka Theater featured geometric tiles and an elaborate ornate kiosk offering double feature movie nights for local kids at just 9 cents! The Theater was named after DeLand department store owners, The Dreka Family and quickly became a popular Saturday outing location for families in the DeLand community.

The Dreka Theater was restored in 2019 by Collective Church and is managed by The Dreka Theater, LLC. The venue highlights the original brick wall, theater crown molding and terrazzo floors in the 3000 square foot space. This historic gem is equipped with an open floor plan for large scale events, various audio/visual options, staging for musicians, a wet bar for catered events and an optional event coordinating team on site.

The 3,000 sq ft space was built in 1922 and named after The Dreka Family. In 2019, the venue was restored, exposing the original crown molding ceiling, brick wall and terrazzo floors.
