Wow...So crazy how life has it's twists & turns! It seems like every time we make plans, the universe intervenes and says, "Let's do this instead." We are still having fun getting this old house ready to do what we intend to do... make memories! Here are some photos and videos of our last-minute Halloween decor. We are already planning next year's party, "The Haunted Orphanage". It's going to be spooky!!!

It has been a wild ride so far this year. Nothing seems to be going as planned. As some of you know, I am in the process of liquidating my dad’s estate and resale business, hence the mentions of Dan's Attic DeLand. My dad was a collector of many things, so my focus is there until everything is gone. Luckily, I’ve been fortunate enough to bring several beautiful pieces into The Parlor, for use with my future endeavors, and I continue to find pieces that will be on display here. Sorting through his collection is truly like a treasure hunt every day.

Someone asked me recently, “What are your plans for this amazing building?” I replied, “So many, fun and wonderful things!”

First things first though… as you can see from the earlier photos, we are going through the much needed beautification process.

Coming in April, we will be opening up our sip & shop, resale shop, and in the future, offering event space for rent, party planning services, and more.

Our Friends and Family Tea Party, that was held last night, was just the beginning of the wonderful things to come!

We already have an amazing team in place ready to entertain you!

It's March Madness, and Stetson Basketball is headed to take on UConn in Brooklyn.

Today, VSO Motors gave the team an es**rt to Daytona Beach International Airport.

Standing at the edge of a new chapter can be scary.

The desire to run back into the pages you know so well, is more than tempting.

But you must keep moving.

Chapters end, even the good ones.

And if you linger in the past too long, your story cannot unfold the way it should.

And you might just miss the most beautiful moments of your life, whilst grieving the ones gone by.

It’s scary at the edge my friend, I know.

But just jump.

You have so much ahead.

And the good stuff behind, will always be there.
