Hi Indie Market Family!
We hope you all have been having a great 2024! In 2012 I was in our shop Newfangled Modern Market with Rusty and a friend and we were talking about all of the wonderful artisans that were displaying their work in our space. I wanted to have so many more but I didn't have the space to hold them all so the DeLand Indie Market was born! We started off with 45 Vendors and grew to 130. We started in 2018 and were able to reach even more Vendors. We have now come full circle. The opportunity came for us to reopen our shop and get this, it's at the entrance of Artisan Alley on the New York Ave side! How cool is that? .0 will be opening in November and will have a bit of a different vibe. We will be featuring plants, a potting station, home decor, lighting and of course our cool vintage and architectural finds. Sadly this means we will no longer be hosting the markets. We are going to focus on the shop, family and traveling. We hope you will come and see us because we will definitely miss everyone. We are eternally grateful to each and every one of you for making the Markets such a success! We will keep these accounts to promote other markets and vendors. Tag us in posts and we will share. Hello everyone! Just to clarify I did not sell the DeLand Indie Market at Artisan Alley or Sanford Indie Market and no one is taking over this market! I am not sure where these rumors are coming from. If someone wants to create their own they totally should. I built my brand for 12 years and molded it to what I wanted. It wasn't huge overnight but it grew into an outstanding event. Someone else could do the same with hard work and dedication. I will see where this year takes me and will be checking in every so often to see how everyone is doing. Have a great 2024!

Happy New Year Everyone! With the new year comes a big change! I am pausing the & to pursue new event opportunities in 2024! I have loved hosting these markets since the creation of DeLand in 2012 and Sanford in 2018! I have met so many amazing people along the way and have loved seeing so many of our vendors grow! Thank you so much to my husband Rusty for always helping and supporting! Thank you to Barb & Sandy at Artisan Alley and Dan at for having the perfect homes for us! Thank you to all of our Vendors, Volunteers and Patrons for making the Market such a success! I will stay in touch and let you know updates as they occur. See you all soon!
