I had the honor to work at my little sisters Prom, (special needs). It never came to mind they to deserve their own prom. It was just a beautiful experience. It was so nice that they allow their family to attend if they wanted too🫶🏻. Our school district doesn’t do it for them a teacher aid puts it together for them. I feel school districts need to normalize this for them. We have 3 high schools so all 3 HS attend. They also are crown king/queen per site which is so nice of her to do. I just wanted to say they were so extremely grateful and had a blast!!! Words really can’t express how they touched me. If the world can just be as loving as them our world would be so much better.
