Orchesis is the Department of Performing Arts' annual contemporary dance concert, highlighting original work by students, faculty, and guest choreographers. Orchesis Dance Company continues a great legacy of dance at Ohio Wesleyan University. “Interpretive Dance” was first offered at OWU in 1925, and in 1931, the first Orchesis concert was presented.
