The Delaware County Historical Society is excited to announce our event venue The Barn at Stratford. To increase awareness and to make its programs more widely known, The Society makes available to individuals and groups the special privilege of using its’ facilities, such as The Barn at Stratford for business and social functions. No... no you cannot.
That is because we see LOVE here. We see the moment that will last.

I always tell our couples that not everyone works a 9-5 monday through friday job. Scheduling weddings on an alternative day is trending for a variety of reasons, saving money is a big one!
For the rest of 2025, all 12-hour weddings booked on Fridays and Sundays this year will be $500 less than the standard rate.

We are excited to share, our newly remodeled Dressing Suite! Mark & Maria Pizzi, met us several years ago and began volunteering with the Meeker Homestead Museum, here beside The Barn at Stratford. Still madly in love after 45 years, they enjoyed overhearing couples like many of YOU coming through the property sharing your plans for a beautiful life, starting with your wedding day. They chose to make a contribution that would enhance the experience of a couple on their wedding day and chose to focus on the anticipation of getting ready for the big moment in our dressing suite. If you know this sweet couple, then you know they are still flirty and in love after all these years. We couldn't think of a better way to honor their contributions than to name the newly remodeled dressing suite after them. Introducing, The Pizzi Suite. Happy 45th anniversary Mark & Maria. The Barn at Stratford

The Barn at Stratford is a one of a kind event venue owned and operated by the Delaware County Historical Society. Located conveniently off St. Route 23 in Delaware, the Barn at Stratford is a perfect location to host weddings, annual meetings, holiday parties, graduations, anniversaries, reunions and beyond.

After a massive restoration in 2019 we can accommodate sit down dinner events for up to 175 people and cocktail style events for 200.
