It is with the heaviest of hearts that we share the passing of Gaspar Lopez. On December 4th, two of our Grimes Events family members, Gaspar and Oliver Rodriguez, were involved in a terrible car accident. Tragically, Gaspar’s time on earth came to an end as God called him back to heaven.

Oliver, though critically injured with a skull fracture, was blessed to survive and is now on the path to recovery.
Oliver is a devoted father to three young children, all under the age of five, who are his reason to fight and heal. As he faces a long recovery journey, both physically and emotionally, we are asking for your support.

To assist Oliver with his medical expenses and to help provide for his young family during this challenging time, we have created a GoFundMe page in his name. Any contribution, no matter the size, will make a meaningful difference for Oliver and his children.

Gaspar’s memory remains in our hearts, and we pray for his family as they prepare for his funeral and work to return him to his loved ones in Guatemala. A separate GoFundMe page has been established for Gaspar to help cover funeral and travel costs.
From the bottom of our hearts, we want to thank everyone who has reached out, checked in, and offered their support. Your kindness means more than words can express.

It is with the heaviest of hearts that we share the passing of Gaspar Lopez. On December 4th, two of our Grimes Events family members were involved in a terrible accident. Oliver Rodriquez suffered a skull fracture, but thankfully will recover. Gaspar and Oliver were in a car accident. God decided he needed Gaspar back in heaven with him and sent his angels to protect Oliver. Oliver has three young children under the age of five that he is living for.

Gaspar’s funeral is scheduled for Saturday, December 14th.

From the bottom of our hearts, we want to thank all of you who reached out, checked in, and asked how you could help.

We are reaching out to our friends and community to support the families anyway possible with medical, funeral, and travel costs. Grimes Events is setting up a Go Fund Me Page for Gaspar and a separate one for Oliver. This one is for Gaspar. Every penny counts to help Gaspar get back to his family in Guatemala.

We pray for everyone’s family and hope they find peace with God’s plan.

With heavy hearts we kindly remind you to always wear your seatbelts.
