Happy Sunday! As I'm resting up for this 7 day stretch, I figured I would post some inspirational examples of what we do, and bestow a friendly reminder that Mother's Day truly is around the corner. If you're planning on sending mom flowers, you may want to consider placing your order sooner rather than later. Flower shops can reach capacity as early as Wednesday or Thursday for the weekend. As many of you know, we are a small boutique and only take a certain amount of orders for each day. All super specific orders for the holiday are booked, so we have now moved into "designer's choice" with some parameters for the time being. Designer's choice with parameters can give you options such as low and lush or vertical displays. Other options include the vibe of the piece, which can range from modern to organic, soft/ feminine, to bright/cheerful, etc. I never made any mention of it, but I celebrated 20 years in business this April. This will make my 20th Mother's Day as a shop owner, but not as a designer as I have been doing this for longer. What a crazy ride it has been, and I couldn't have done it without your support and kindness. Thank you🙏. We look forward to making your mom's happy with beautiful flowers and designs🙂.

Hey everyone. Just wanted to wish all of you a belated Happy New Year. As some of you may know, I needed to temporarily close the shop this week due to a couple of unfortunate circumstances. In the past, I would've been open no matter what. From passing kidney stones, throwing out my back, covid, food poisoning, you name it. But, this situation was more personal/ family related, & I simply just needed to take the time off. Over the years, I have found myself telling people that not only am I florist, but I also play the role of a bartender/therapist. If you really think about it, flowers can be ordered for just about ANY reason. And, with those reasons, there are always stories. Some of them range from being absolutely hilarious to extremely serious. It's really been eye-opening, & certainly gives me a solid pulse on the everyday lives we all live. However, what stands out the most in all of these stories for me is when everything is fine one moment, and then....it's not. Stroke, cancer diagnosis, car accident, a loved one passing unexpectedly, etc. Despite all of the challenges so many of us have faced in these last few years, it's hard for me to ignore after hearing so many stories how precious each day truly is, and that all we have is the here and the now. It's important that we remain focused on that because time can never be bought back with any amount of money. Health is wealth, accountability is key, & love is the strongest force in the universe. Looking forward to getting back this Monday!! Just wanted to thank some of my customers who were willing to wait for me to come back so that I could have the opportunity to send joy to their loved ones. TY so much❤️✌️🙂

Here are a few other examples we created for the holiday that will scrape the surface of what we were up to. And, while I am so proud of ALL of our pieces that we created.....these were my most favorite 🙂. Hope everyone had a Happy Thanksgiving, and thank you SO much for all of your support!

As promised, here is another party🙂. Wish I had the time to shoot a video or take better pictures because this was my favorite project for three days, hands down. The red roses were for the guest house kitchen counter. The other tall piece was for the main kitchen counter of the house. With a view to the outside space from the kitchen was an 18 foot long table. The 3 cubes on the counter, (an additional XL cube like the center one not in the pic) PLUS the 2 other cubes on the coffee table will complete a very tasteful table scape (6 pcs). And lastly, the bubble bowl was to be placed on a glass round table in a different part of the house. Gonna do one more photo drop of some retail stuff we did next.

Well...., it's Saturday night. Anyone else doing absolutely nothing? With Thanksgiving approaching, all I'm doing for tonight and tomorrow is resting. In a strange turn of events, we received a significant amount of pre-orders for this holiday which is wonderful. Both parties and retail. Thanksgiving is one of those holidays where as a florist, you never know how to plan. Every year is different. Sometimes, it's just a lot fall arrangements wishing friends and families a Happy Thanksgiving from afar. Sometimes, it's a lot of centerpieces and other home accent floral decor because friends and family are here visiting. Sometimes, it's pre-ordered or at the last possible minute. Sometimes, it's just the complete opposite, where it's just plants and other types of floral arrangements for other occasions. And lastly, sometimes it's just not a really busy holiday because a lot of people left to go elsewhere. But this year...oh my. With only 2 days and a bit of Wednesday, we got some really fun orders to tackle. Lots of really cool requests. Most likey by Thursday night or Friday I will post some pictures or do a video of something cool we did. We still have a few openings left, but space is limited. Just wanted to once again..thank everyone 🙏 for your support of this tiny shop. Hope all of you have a wonderful Thanksgiving.🥂

Happy Sunday!! Hope everyone is having a great weekend. Been seeing lots of cool AND fun Halloween parties for the adults this weekend on social media👍. And then, on Tuesday it's all about the kids....am I right? As a father of an 11 year old son, I find myself AND my inner child within... super excited🎃! I am originally from New Jersey, and I remember my Halloweens as a child very well. Cool costume, pillowcase filled with candy abundance, and a big group of friends to share the night with. I remember there was always that one house where you didn't get candy, but rather a toothbrush because the homeowner was a dentist...lol🤦‍♂️! But I have to say...here in south Florida, some of these communities I have been to in the last few years for Halloween have seriously taken creative matters to the next level... where adults and kids can all be children together for a few hours, and I love it. If you're from my area, you know exactly what I'm talking about, and it's SO cool! Anyhow, this piece was requested to be ALL about Halloween. Everyday art everyday retail at Tamara's Flower Garden.

It's been a LONG time since I posted anything related to funerals. I'm not really sure why, but what I can say is that it is definitely a part of what we do as florists on the everyday. We may make arrangements for ALL of life's amazing occasions, but we also must create pieces for those who have passed. It's not really a great subject to dive into, but it's important to those who have lost someone. I have always put my heart and soul into these pieces because I feel that it needs to mean something...as it is the last goodbye. Funeral arrangements made with love can radiate an energy of comfort, and peace. Everyday art everyday retail at Tamara's Flower Garden.
