I am soooo sorry but I have to cancel orders for the next 2 weeks. I just got home from the orthopedic Doctor and have a broken foot. (No clue how it happened, just started hurting)
I am on no working, driving or walking for 2 weeks.
We will have this same menu when we start back February 12th. Thank you for understanding. 😢🍴🌳

On the menu today…Sneaux! Yesterday was absolutely Beautiful! I love cold weather, snow and mountains. This was as close to perfect weather as it gets for me! I hope everyone enjoyed their meals this week. So thankful we were able to get it all done early.

Due to the ice & snow coming in, we will text ASAP once your order is ready to pickup. We are cooking Sunday & Monday so everyone will be able to pickup early!!!! We can also hold orders for pickup later in the week if you prefer.
We can freeze from this menu for next week’s pickup too.

🎉🎉🎉Happy 25th Anniversary Shady Oaks Catering! Today is the day it all started 25 years ago! We just finished our biggest year ever because of our incredible customers!
Thank you to our Kitchen & Catering Family for all the hard work y’all do and have done. Crazy hours, lots of shopping, deliveries, road running and many, many dirty pots & dishes! We have been Blessed with a business that is truly my passion.
If you are a customer, catering client, Facebook follower, friend, family member, checkout person at one of many stores we frequent, vehicle loader at Sams, garbage pickup person, Hancock-Whitney bank teller, fridge & cooler repairman, Thank You!
A Huge Thank You to my Hubby, Tommy for keeping everything going all these years! Without you it would not have been possible. Thank you to my kids for always checking to see if I need anything before heading home (almost always I do!).❤️Most of all, Thank You God for giving me the gift of cooking! I figured out when I was around 8 that I enjoyed cooking. By 11 it was something I did frequently at home.

Love Greek Food?!?!
A healthy, quick & easy appetizer...
***Mediterranean Hummus Spread!
Super easy to make.
Layer bottom to top...
Sabra Hummus(or your favorite)
Feta cheese crumbles
Sundried tomatoes, sliced thin
Kalamato olives, sliced thin
Parmesan cheese
Dried Parsley
Drizzle with olive oil (optional)
Serve with pita chips, English cucumber slices, naan dippers or warm pita bread. Enjoy!

Do you love muffulettas?!?!?! This is an easy spread to make for a New Year's Eve Party!
Spread a softened block of cream cheese on a tray. Top with 1/2 of a drained jar of olive mix. Slice up 1 small bag of pepperoni into strips and toss over the olive mixture. Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese and serve with toasted French bread slices or your favorite firm cracker or bread. Enjoy & Happy New Year!

Have some leftover cranberry sauce?
Mix 1 can of whole berry cranberry sauce & 1 jar pepper jelly. Serve 1/2 of mixture over 1 block, softened cream cheese spread on a plate. Enjoy!

I will be sharing a few easy recipes you can use for New Years or Mardi Gras over the next several posts.
***Bacon Cheddar Dip!
Mix 16 oz of Daisy sour cream with your favorite seasoning to taste and mix well. This will keep in your fridge up to 1 week. Just before serving, mix in 8 oz of finely shredded cheddar cheese & 1/4 cup real bacon crumbles. Serve with your favorite chips, crackers or top your baked potato!
