Another busy weekend for us! Catering a rehearsal dinner tonight, donating 4 pans of Crispy topped smoked cheesy potatoes to Keegan Grimm Scholarship Fundraiser event at Joe's Clays and Guns tomorrow, and smoked enough pulled pork to feed 200 bellies on Sunday during the Denmark Lions Club Parade and Picnic event. LOTS of opportunity for some smoked food Saturday and Sunday! Make it a great weekend and support your local events. SO MUCH TO DO!

So Sunday was a scary day. Our son hit a deer with his motorcycle. He called me when it happened and an ambulance ride later I got to see him and wrap my arms around him. We are so very fortunate that he came out with only road rash, bumps and bruises. His motorcycle and the deer weren’t as lucky. Sometimes it’s easy to focus on the many “challenges” in life. But right now, this week, every time I get to talk to my son, I will be grateful.

Love being a part of this community. Whiskey Tango BBQ is donating their time for this - ALL proceeds go to the Denmark Lions Club to continue supporting the Denmark Area community with scholarships, donations, medical equipment, sponsorships and more! We hope to see you Sunday!

We are excited to announce we've added Pulled Pork Sandwiches prepared by Whiskey Tango BBQ to the picnic menu! Come on out to the Parade and Picnic, Sunday, July 28th! Parade starts at 11:30 with the picnic and family activities to follow in Veterans Memorial Park! Can't wait to see you there!
