When should YOU do a trial run?

We suggest 4-6 weeks before the big day!

Why you might ask?

💄 You will have most of your details nailed down such as colors, style and vision that will help to curate your look

💄 Allows for you to maybe grow your hair a little longer, get a little bit more sun or have one last facial.

💄 We definitely don’t suggest having a trial in January for a July wedding. It’s not advantageous for you or your artist

Our clients TRUST us to secure services first and then have a trial closer to their wedding.

1. Pick eye color and skin tones that reflect YOU

2. If you are a brunette, look for photos of brunettes

3. Pinterest is a really great place for ideas, but also past photos of yourself that you’ve liked your hair and makeup are helpful as well!

If you purchased it, bring it! ( and don’t forget to steam it ;)

The veil instantly makes a look “bridal” .

We always encourage clients to bring the veil because atleast you have it. You may not wear it for very long but atleast get the pics and you can be done with it 🤍🤍🤍

Hey, Hiii and hello, if you don’t know who I am, it’s Cassie. Owner of Candelaria Beauty

It’s late.. 11:19pm to be exact. My daughter barely went to bed around 9:30 , we started at 6:50pm… it’s been a long day.. emails, texts, scheduling, potty training.. s**t on the floor.. yes you read that right..

I finally have a moment to sit down and relax. But then I got to thinking.. well I was reading “Daring Greatly” by Dr Brene Brown and I’m at the part about shame.. and how shame shows up for women. One of the biggest triggers is we should be perfect.. going through life effortlessly..
And when we don’t , we are filled with shame.. this hit soooo hard

This year has been a s**t show…

I’ve showed up to weddings while enduring my own divorce

I’ve showed up when my daughter didn’t sleep all night and didn’t cooperate in getting up the next morning before an early client

I’ve showed up even when I didn’t feel beautiful myself

I’ve lacked communication with clients, I’ve not responded at all to clients, I’ve said some not so kind things and I’ve cried a lot..

Being a woman is not effortless.. it’s a lot of fu**in work!

Trying to replicate this perceived “effortless beauty” is bulls**t.

Nothing you see here, social media or Pinterest is effortless…

But what you will find.. is love, compassion , raw and authentic crazy devotion to this life..
