Primera Feria de La Chinita en Colorado!
In an effort to promote Venezuelan Culture and preserve our Venezuelan traditions.
La Feria de La Chinita, is a traditional celebration to honor the Virgin of Chiquinquirá from Maracaibo, Venezuela. The jubilee is led by a beautifully costumed festival queen, and is characterized by music concerts, parades, games and folklore stories.
This is the first year we will be celebrating this event in Colorado and Venezuelan Folk Dance School Venezuela Renaciente is graciously hosting the event at Raices Brewing Co. featuring local vendors and community artists and businesses.
This is a free, family event. We will have a toy drive for needy children taking place at the event through partnership with Venezuelan charity foundation Por Amor and international parcel service Perucho Express. Toys gathered at Feria de La Chinita will be shipped to needy Venezuelan Children for Chrsitmas.
