i’m the founder and owner of landfall! i found myself in the world of flowers through a couple streaks of luck. the short story is that after almost a decade working in graphic design in Colorado and California, i made a pandemic plunge into a floral apprenticeship with a wonderful retail shop in SoCal, and…the rest is history!
i have always had such a love for nature, whether rambling through the alabama woods and growing my own zinnia garden as a kid, or climbing peaks and backpacking the rockies as an adult. i love the outdoors for the perspective and awe we find while spending time in it, but I especially think I’m drawn to nature, because it teaches us about beauty.
floral design for me is a little bit art, a little science, and then some intuition and ‘let’s give this a shot!’ thrown in. i’m endlessly trying to reflect back how I see nature in hopes that we can enjoy a small vignette of it in our day-to-day lives, our bigger occasions, and all the moments in-between. so we offer florals for the full spectrum, from florals for retail to micro events to full-service weddings.
i hope our style feels natural, relaxed, and honest. maybe a touch of whimsy and enchantment thrown in, too - those little moments of delight that make you smile to yourself.
