We'll be at sie filmcenter TONIGHT for otaku tuesdays, with a mystery screening that has nothing to do w our last slides lol - BUT if you recognize and are the first to comment their origin, we got you on dinner 🫶 (highkey our fav two anime series btw)

SAME CAFÉ 🤝 KIDS TABLE

I will be curating a Vegan Chef Takeover NEXT FRIDAY - menu dropping soon so stay tuned!

As y'all know, we have a love/hate relationship with living in cap hill lol, but nearby special places like this make us feel lucky.

At SAME, everyone eats with dignity regardless of their ability to pay. In exchange for a warm, healthy homemade meal, people can pay what they can, volunteer their time, or donate fresh produce.

People experiencing houselessness, refugees, retirees - truly anyone can come to SAME and join in their mission, while gaining valuable skills, job training, and ideally leaving feeling dam good about how they spent their day.

For almost 19 years they have been building community through food, which is what it's all been about for us too. So we're so honored to be able to share space with them and help bring more proceeds to this amazing Colfax STAPLE 👏

Thank you to for another amazing experience participating in your summer program, which helps to empower AANHPI youth by creating space and community for girls / gender-expansive ♥️

I had the honor of catering their group, as well as leading an activity involving delicious housemade buko pandan 😋

You may not know this about me, but I'm also 200RYT certified, and find so much meaning and power in regular yoga / meditation practice. I'd be way more delulu if this wasn't a part of my life since starting with my mom in high school lol. I was so stoked AGI allowed the opportunity to lead the students through some breathing and yoga poses, while speaking about what affirmation and intention means to them.

This is Kids Table's 2nd year with AGI, and it's amazing seeing the group grow, and the students finding true friendships with other girls who started as strangers that may have grown up with a similar story as them.

TODAY ONLY we'll be slinging this special - white beans, macapuno (coconut string), saba (sweet banana), shaved ice, langka (sweet jackfruit), ube jam, housemade flan, and an evaporated coconut milk pour 🤌

We'll also have tofu pancit, mango sticky rice, and housemade flan a la carte. Our whole menu is gluten-free today ♥️

We're alongside some badass AANHPI women-owned businesses, hosted by Denver's best AANHPI-owned brewery 🥹
