LA FAMILIA DENVER ANNOUNCEMENT - BRENTON WOOD
La Familia Denver is honored to announce that we will produce a show in the Spring to allow the Denver and Colorado Gente to celebrate and thank a cherished and gifted man whose music and persona we all love. On a personal note, as a friend, this comes from a personal desire from the heart to honor a friend. Brenton was last with us in 2016 when La Familia presented him with an RMPA Music Award at Greystone Castle. It was a night to remember. The effort and framework for the production of the show is now being organized. Details will be released soon and tickets will go on sale when the organization of the effort is complete. Gracias. Registration is closed for the Father's Heart—Nellie's Kids 2024 event. The venue has reached capacity. Extra toys after the even will be distributed to families that missed registration. FATHER'S HEART NELLIE'S KIDS
DENVER 12TH ANNUAL CHRISTMAS PARTY REGISTRATION WRAP-UP
Registration for the "2024 Father's Heart - Nellie's Kids" Christmas Event is now wrapping up. This will be a Christmas party only. Due to policy changes at the local Toys-For-Tots we were not approved to receive toys this year and due to the notification coming in the last week, we do not have the time necessary to conduct a toy drive. Consequently, WE WILL NOT BE DISTRIBUTING TOYS THIS YEAR, however, we will resume toy distribution in 2025.

For the Christmas party, we will still accept 450 registrations for kids between the ages of 4 and 12 for this community outreach effort. All kids must still be registered to ensure that we do not exceed the capacity of the venue. Single parents, grandparents raising kids, and families are encouraged to register and attend. This will still be a great event for kids.

WHAT PARENTS AND GUARDIANS NEED TO KNOW ABOUT REGISTRATION:
ALL KIDS MUST BE REGISTERED
Limited to kids 4 through 12 years of age.

1.) Parents' name, phone number, and email address
2.) Number of kids (Ages 4 through 12)
3.) Gender (Boy or girl) and the ages of each child

THE CHICANO SOUL RADIO EXPERIENCE - DRIVE TIME
DJ Eddie G and I will be on TEJANOSBEST.COM this Friday from 4 PM to 6 PM doing the Chicano Soul Radio Experience as part of our Latin Jam New Year's Eve promotion. Tonight I participated in the program via recorded interview and had a chance to share some great stories as I reached back into a deep reservoir of memories and experiences spanning 30 years in the entertainment business to share with you. Mi Gente, this one's for you cause you are the inspiration.

In addition to music that Chicanos love, this Friday we'll cover some real-life experiences with the Latin Kings All-Stars. The stories you seldom ever hear about. Some sad, some funny, but all authentic. Listen in this Friday at 4 PM for some great Chicano Soul music and hear about Denver experiences with Lenny Williams former lead singer of Tower of Power, Lee Oscar the legendary harmonica player of the Low Rider Band and original WAR member, Tony "El Conguero" Menjivar, Greg Errico, Bobby "El Chicano" Espinosa, Aki Starr, Dolores DeAngelo, and others that happened right here in Denver.
