WE ARE GRATEFUL - FATHER'S HEART-NELLIE'S KIDS
La Familia Ministries has much to be grateful for this year with the Father's Heart-Nellie's Kids Christmas and the Father's Heart Rocky Ford outreaches. And so we are. The Lord is faithful. We thank everyone who made it possible for all of us to reach higher and accomplish more. Thank you Darlene Rothrock and family for your support, Vince Gonzales with Toys-For-Tots Pueblo, the Mendez family and the Salon Real Events Center, Wil and Cindy Lucero - Hope-4-Tomorrow and Susan Elizabeth Lee of the Sock-It-To-Em campaign, Commander Brad Qualley and DPD District 4, Steve Polidori and the Polidori Sausage Company (the best Italian sausage in Denver), and Val - Cardenas Ministries for your inspiration, Divine Reflection Church, and of course Nellie's Kids and my daughter Marisa, Desiree Flores, Mary Jo Aragon (Father's Heart, Rocky Ford, CO., Rocky Ford Mayor Duane Gurule and the Small Town Project, Maya Martinez, La Junta, and a host of friends and volunteers from Southeastern Colorado to Denver. 12TH ANNUAL CHRISTMAS PARTY REGISTRATION WRAP-UP
Registration for the "2024 Father's Heart - Nellie's Kids" Christmas Event is wrapping up. WE WILL HAVE TOYS THIS YEAR. The Lord spoke to some hearts to help with toys for this event. Those people listened and have made it possible for the ministry to have toys this year. SO, THERE WILL BE TOY DISTRIBUTION AT THIS EVENT. Thank you Lord, and thank you to the donors for your love for kids and your heart for benevolence.

We have room for 450 registrations for kids between 4 and 12 for this event. All kids must be registered. If you have already submitted an email to register, we will be confirming your registration in the next few days via email or telephone call.

FATHER'S HEART NELLIE'S KIDS
DENVER 12TH ANNUAL CHRISTMAS PARTY REGISTRATION WRAP-UP
Registration for the "2024 Father's Heart - Nellie's Kids" Christmas Event is now wrapping up. This will be a Christmas party only. Due to policy changes at the local Toys-For-Tots we were not approved to receive toys this year and due to the notification coming in the last week, we do not have the time necessary to conduct a toy drive. Consequently, WE WILL NOT BE DISTRIBUTING TOYS THIS YEAR, however, we will resume toy distribution in 2025.

For the Christmas party, we will still accept 450 registrations for kids between the ages of 4 and 12 for this community outreach effort. All kids must still be registered to ensure that we do not exceed the capacity of the venue. Single parents, grandparents raising kids, and families are encouraged to register and attend. This will still be a great event for kids.

THE CHICANO SOUL RADIO EXPERIENCE - DRIVE TIME
DJ Eddie G and I will be on TEJANOSBEST.COM this Friday from 4 PM to 6 PM doing the Chicano Soul Radio Experience as part of our Latin Jam New Year's Eve promotion. Tonight I participated in the program via recorded interview and had a chance to share some great stories as I reached back into a deep reservoir of memories and experiences spanning 30 years in the entertainment business to share with you. Mi Gente, this one's for you cause you are the inspiration.

In addition to music that Chicanos love, this Friday we'll cover some real-life experiences with the Latin Kings All-Stars. The stories you seldom ever hear about. Some sad, some funny, but all authentic. Listen in this Friday at 4 PM for some great Chicano Soul music and hear about Denver experiences with Lenny Williams former lead singer of Tower of Power, Lee Oscar the legendary harmonica player of the Low Rider Band and original WAR member, Tony "El Conguero" Menjivar, Greg Errico, Bobby "El Chicano" Espinosa, Aki Starr, Dolores DeAngelo, and others that happened right here in Denver. Thank you for your patience this year. La Familia Ministry Denver is blessed to be a sponsor of the Aztlan Toys-4-Kidz event again this year and partner with the staff at the Aztlan Recreation Center in North Denver.
