New on the Blog today is the stunning mountain top wedding of C + J at Northstar Gatherings Weddings in Idaho Springs.
On the day of the Ring of Fire Solar eclipse, C & J surrounded by their entourage of family and friends celebrated their love and commitment together. From an emotional "First Touch" moment, to a magical sunrise, and even Morning After Yoga led by Amy for the wedding party, this was a weekend to remember.

Megan and Todd eloped in Seward, Alaska on September 5, 2023.
On a sightly cloudy, slightly breezy, but over all perfect weather day in Alaska in early fall, Megan and Todd ventured out to the port town of Seward, Alaska to share their adventure elopement experience.

M + D had the elopement day they’ve always dreamed of. Originally they were eyeing to elope sometime in winter in the mountains, but with how their schedules worked out they decided sometime late in May would work the best. While late in May would be nearing summer for most places across the US, up in the mountains of Colorado, it was not quite there. While the weather was nice on the days leading up, the day of providing something different.

They had rented out a cabin up in the mountains to spend the morning getting ready. This is when the clouds slowly rolled in.

After their first look out in the pines around the cabin, we drove up the pass to their spot we had chosen for their ceremony and this is when it hit: a full on winter storm. The most beautiful snow fell as they read their vows to each other and it was magic.

After the ceremony we drove over to another location for a moody evening on this shores is a lake where they shared an intimate first dance, a small picnic with food they picked up to-go and a cake cutting. At the end of the day, they told me they had always dreamed of a snowy elopement, and the Colorado mountains provided them just that.
