the sweetest surprise engagement.
wedding photography is so much more than that..i am part wedding planner, part event coordinator, part therapist, and part photographer. all until i sit down to become whole editing queen.
jon planned a whole day scavenger hunt for hayley to execute, accompanied by her best girlfriend. the end clue led them to this place. jon and i scoped and scoped and he set it all up. we dropped a pin to her bestfriend where he left a trail of roses for her to follow to a sweet spot on the mountainside. we hid in bushes behind rocks and talked for 35 minutes while the girls were stuck in traffic. he was nervous about what to say, when to stand, and even practiced opening the ring box 😠the sun finally hid behind the clouds, which was perfect for this beautiful moody and emotional moment. (i cry everytime. i will never be desensitized to love 🙃)
