The Bboy Factory

Founded in 2012, The Bboy Factory is Colorado’s premier Breakin’ dance studio. Our mission is to preserve authentic Hip Hop culture, while elevating the local level of Breakin’ (#breakdance) . We believe our classes promote a healthy and positive lifestyle for all ages. Furthermore, we strive to build community both locally and globally through dance and Hip Hop culture. To achieve that goal we have hosted countless workshops and events with many of the most iconic “Street” dancers in the world. We have been featured by Westword, 9News, ABC, the Denver Post and more. As teachers and we have travelled abroad to do outreach on behalf of the US Embassy and as individuals. As performers and community leaders we have danced on the biggest stages in Denver and have helped to produce and promote multiple shows at the Denver Center for Performing Arts. Our students and instructors have competed for Global Championships, such as the 2018 Youth Olympic Qualifiers as well as the 2012 and 2015 Red Bull BC One US Finals. Founder, Ian Flaws has been a featured instructor twice at “Denver Chance to Dance”, an event produced by the Mayor of Denver’s Wife’s foundation Bringing Back the Arts. He has also been included as one of a 100 Colorado artists recognized by Westword Magazine. In 2017 and 2018, he was the “Local Representative” for the International show Breakin’ Convention. We believe it is fare to say that The Bboy Factory is truly one of the top “Breakin’” studios in the nation and world.
