Early on in my career, I was rejected by a planning couple for "not being professional enough." Looking back, I realize they weren't the right couple for me, and likely used that phrase as an easy way to let me down.

Fast forward 12+ years, and I've discovered that what I bring to the table as your planning partner is the utmost level of professionalism mixed with a healthy dose of fun! Wedding planning can be approached like a corporate project with checklists, circling back, and itemized tasks. But, should it be approached like that? I don't think so.

This ONE day is usually the biggest day of my couple's lives to date. It's the culmination of your already rooted partnership and the next step in joining your lives together forever. That momentous decision should be celebrated! Not just on the wedding day but every. single. day. And, throughout your entire wedding planning journey. If having fun with all of that makes me even one iota less professional in someone's mind, I'm more than okay with that.

For everyone else that wants to feel their love celebrated with some of the corporate bells & whistles, I'm your gal. Let's chat!

Forever swooning over Darian & Evan's September nuptials atop Keystone!

We were just above the rain line that day and had a lovely little snow squall move in right before the ceremony started. Resulting in an ethereal setting for their I Do's.

I'm overjoyed that I don't HAVE to travel the I-70 corridor in this weather (this year, anyway!) but my-oh-my winter sure is a beautiful season for love!

Oh hey, it's me, Jessica McTaggart! Most everyone calls me Jess, and you can, too! Now that my 2024 wedding season has officially ended (and what a season it was!! 😍😍), I'm switching over to 2025 and 2026 wedding plans!

For those of you new here and/or new to Pink Champagne Events, a few things about me:

- I'm the worst at posting on social media! Sometimes I'm on 🔥 and other times, this feed is cold as 🧊 It's something I'm working on. 💪

- I'm obsessed with lush floral arrangements, scrumptious food, and CAKE! At the end of a wedding night, you'll find me taking some leftovers of each! 🤷🏼‍♀️ You know, so it doesn't go to waste 😂

- I love to laugh and try not to take myself too seriously! My job (and passion!) is to relieve the stress and pain points from my couples' planning journey. For that reason, you'll almost always find me in good spirits with a smile on my face, letting you know, "we're all good!" Even, if that's not the case 😉

-I'm a recovering perfectionist and cringe when I see bad grammar, misspellings, industry faux pas, improper wedding etiquette, or hear a vendor say something I don't agree with. My mouth might not say anything, but my face absolutely will 😂

I'm so happy you've found my little corner of Insta and hope you enjoy my posts & stories - when they're there! LoL!

Shelbee & Jake's big day was one for the books! In all the most amazing ways, possible! From the custom ties and bookmark place cards to the LED dance floor and THREE wedding cakes. Not to mention a killer performance from the one & only .entertainment

So much more to come from this fabulous day soon!
