✨ One Year Anniversary!!! ✨

Now that the holiday season is behind us, it’s time to celebrate! 🎉

Rose Petal Weddings & Events just hit its one-year milestone a couple of weeks ago! This past year has been nothing short of amazing. I’m so thankful for every couple and wedding vendor who believed in my business. When I first started, I had no clue where this journey would lead. I never imagined I’d find such passion and motivation behind this idea. It’s been a year of learning, growing, and overcoming challenges. I can’t express how grateful I am for all the support and love I’ve received.

A huge thank you to each and every one of you! Your support for my wedding business means everything to me. Whether you booked me for coordination, gave feedback, or shared my posts, your help has been priceless. Your willingness to recommend my services lets me keep doing what I love. I appreciate you all for being such an essential part of this journey. I’m excited for many more years of collaboration and success ahead. I’ve got big plans and goals, and I can’t wait to see what the next year brings!

We are one week away from the Second Annual My Favorite Bridal Show at on January 12th from 12 pm to 4 pm!!! This is a fantastic opportunity to meet some amazing vendors, taste test, and win prizes! Thank you for having us!

The first 60 brides will receive:
• A tote bag that will be personalized with your name!
• Bridal magazines
• A drink ticket to redeem
• Taste samples
• Bridal gown fashion show
• Raffle gifts from vendors

Couples that pre-register get in for FREE!
Ticket prices are $5 at the door.

One of the most common questions when wedding planning is, “How much do I tip my wedding vendors?”
 
There is no wrong answer! Tipping is a personal choice, and the amount is up to you! Whether you choose to tip or not, tipping your wedding vendors is always a great way to say thank you for a job well done. While tipping is never necessary, it is appreciated. Some vendors may already include gratitude in their contract, so be sure to double check. I recommend using envelopes when tipping and giving the tips out yourself or to your coordinator.
 
Here’s a great guide to go by:
 
* Officant: $100 and up, or a gift
* DJ/musicians: 10-15% of their fee or $50 per musician.
* Photographer/videographer: up to $200 each, or a gift.
* Hair/makeup: 15-20% of their fee.
* Florals: 5-10% of overall budget.
 
For all other vendors such as bartenders, catering staff, transportation, etc., 15-20% of the bill is a great estimate.
 
Finally, leave a review to wrap it all up! Remember, this is a general guide.
