Our classic red trays are quite simple but create a timeless feel for your tea ceremony.

Trays (mam qua) are usually filled with gifts that are offered to the brides family. The gifts inside are usually determined between the parents, and may vary by culture, but usually include fruit, betel leaves and areca nuts, sticky rice, cake, pastries, tea, and wine or some type of alcohol.

We finally have new Vietnamese tea ceremony signs restocked!!
I know it took way longer than I wanted, but here it is! 🤩

The signs are now round with this leaf frame design and are approx. 14x13 inches. Bonus - they will come with the string to hang up attached to the back! I know a lot of you asked for this feature, so now we have included it.
•
They still are fully customizable - color of the board, the color of the words/glitter leaf design, and what the saying is. Our most popular combo - traditional red+gold and white+gold are shown but we offer a bunch of different colors to match whatever ceremony theme you decide on.

Another plus, turnaround time for these are only about 10 days out!

Closer look at the cape I made for my niece (which her bother so graciously modeled since she was a bit shy at first 🤩🥰) that I posted on my story a few weeks ago when we visited the Renaissance Festival!

This cape was so easy to whip up and we had lots of fun with it! Used 1 yard of pretty, sparkly fabric I picked up at JoAnns, hemmed the sides and bunched the top up with my sewing machine, and finished it with some fun ribbon and yarn for the ties.

Super easy and fun idea for play time, dress up or spooky season coming up! 🎃

My tissue flower boxes come with precut and prefolded tissue flowers that are ready to bloom - making any event photo ready!

Have it say "Welcome", "The Smiths", the couple's names, wedding dates, "I Do", special hashtags, photobooth, "donuts this way" or whatever your heart pleases!

Our signs are most typically hung up in front of the house where the tea ceremony takes place.
♡
The official tea ceremony actually begins outside the house before tea is served to the elders inside. Gifts trays are exchanged from each side before entering (shown by yours truly 🤭). This is why you often see decorations outside the house.
♡
But can we talk about how pretty these outfits are btw?? Traditional ao dai outfits are worn for the tea ceremony as you see pictured! They are beautiful and can be custom created in variety of fabrics, colors, embellishments and designs to match your wedding theme! 😍

Quick overview of what the signs are used for: These signs are typically used during Vietnamese tea ceremonies either for engagement day and/or wedding day. This special event is when the two sides of the family meet and tea is served to each member of the family, from eldest to youngest, by the new couple to show respect. Well wishes and lucky envelopes are usually given to the couple as they are welcomed into the family.

Phew, it's Friday!!

I am loving this sunny fall weather here in Denver! Sharing this quick tissue flower sign I put together for my lovely cousin's wedding last month! 🤵👰 This sign is traditionally used at a Vietnamese tea ceremony in the morning, and has the names of the bride & groom.
