Great event this weekend with the League of Women Voters at Four Mile Historic Park to celebrate the 93rd anniversary of the 19th Amendment. It's hard to believe that less than 100 years ago, I couldn't vote.

Here's a quick summer lunch or dinner. Grilled cheese with fresh figs, Gorgonzola cheese, and prosciutto. Use good bread like sourdough or ciabatta, add a little honey and Dijon, and serve with a simple salad or slaw... If you're not a fig fan, try it with fresh peaches. Yum!
