STARGAZE is back for 2025!

Accessible to all ages, we invite you to learn from skilled astronomers about the wonders of the cosmos, constellations and their folklore, and to observe the moon and other celestial bodies through high powered telescopes. Enjoy tasty food and beverages available for purchase from a local food truck to round out an enchanting evening that promises an “out of this world” experience!

Here are the dates for this year:
🌟 Wednesday January 15th, 6:30-8:30 pm
🌟 Wednesday February 12, 7-9 pm
🌟 Wednesday March 12, 7:30-9:30 pm
🌟 Wednesday April 9, 8:30-10 pm

Just a reminder, to maintain a high quality experience for attendees, we are asking that participants purchase a $5 ticket in advance. Children 5 and under are free with the purchase of a ticket, reserve your spot today at civiccenterpark.org/events/civic-center-stargaze!.

At Civic Center Conservancy, we're so excited for everything 2025 has in store. From STARGAZE and live concerts to Pride Fest, cultural celebrations, EATS, and so much more, there’s going to be something for everyone this year!

2024 is drawing to a close, and what a year it's been! To ring in the new year, there will be a ball-drop style celebration at Civic Center Park at 9pm on December 31st. Admission is free, come celebrate with friends, family, and the Denver community!

Today is the last day of Christkindlmarket! Come down to the park for all day happy hour starting from 11am, and a brass band performance from Guerilla Fanfare from 6-8pm. There is an incredible variety of food and drink to try, stop by and check it out!

Though Christkindlmarket is coming to an end for the year, the Mile High Tree will be up until the 31st. Bring your family to enjoy the light shows and snap some pictures!

Next week, Christkindlmarket will be drawing to a close. Until then, come eat, drink, and make merry at Civic Center park the week before Christmas!

Highlights this week include 80's night with Ronnie Raygun on Thursday the 19th, and a performance from Reunited Acapella at 12:30pm on Saturday the 21st. We hope to see you all out there!

Happy Colorado Gives Day!

Celebrating art, cultural traditions, and culinary exploration all starts with the park. If you have gathered, danced, laughed, or eaten a meal with your friends and family in the park, if you've taken in the beauty of the flower beds while on a lunch break stroll downtown, if you've been to a summer concert at dusk, then we thank you for bringing your energy and presence to the park.

As the year comes to a close and we look forward to the future, we reflect on the past and envision what Civic Center Park can be for us in the coming years. It is at the core of our mission to continue activating the park, and to create engaging and memorable events that enrich the lives of all who come to visit, as well as bringing diversity and vibrancy to the city of Denver.

We are grateful for any and all support you can provide for us to continue serving one of Denver's historical landmarks, as well as its surrounding community.

Civic Center Conservancy is proud to offer programs such as the EATS For All scholarship. With your support, we are able to help entrepreneurs like Mayra Chacon, owner of Cachai Chilean Food, achieve their dreams and bring cultural richness and heritage to Denver.

“My journey began nearly five years ago when I arrived in the United States, always dreaming of owning my own business. The EATS for All scholarship provided crucial financial support, especially since participating in different events can be risky for a new business. We are incredibly grateful for the opportunity Civic Center has given us.”

At Civic Center park, we are proud to provide opportunities to showcase the work of creatives in our community. People don't often think about the vision behind the floral displays in the park, so we want to shout out Cally Dittman, one of the talented horticulturists that worked on our beautiful flowerbeds.

"For the 2024 flower designs, I wanted to explore the idea of color theory – the study of colors that work well together and what emotions they imbue. I mapped out the beds until I achieved the best color combinations. I also played with different textures, heights, and flower shapes," said Cally.

We hope to continue to provide opportunities for people in our community to showcase their creative visions for the benefit of everyone who visits!

Tis (Almost) the Season! Friday, November 22nd, the holidays season officially kicks off at Civic Center Park! The Mile High Tree will be lit at 5:15pm, followed by the opening of with festivities beginning at 6pm in the Greek Ampitheater.

We are so excited for another holiday season in Denver filled with good food, drinks, dazzling lights, and watching our community come together in the park. Let us know your favorite part about holidays in Civic Center Park in the comments!
