I’m not just planning weddings around here, I’m also sitting on the board of the Wedding International Professional Association as the Director of Diversity, Equity & Inclusion! As a Director it’s my responsibility to make sure everyone (and I mean everyone) is being included in this industry and bringing more diversity into the Colorado wedding space. I’ve been a member of WIPA since 2018 and I love the community that we’re fostering there between vendors across the state and the world!

What’s up y’all! I’m Payton and I could pick up just about anything with a pair of chopsticks. Blame it on my chronic sushi habit. I am the head chick in charge over here at Promise Event Planners and would love for you to get to know me a little better on this fine Thursday. I am a professional list maker and clipboard holder (clipboard loser if you ask any of my assistants). I am a part time roller skater and full time power walker. Some call it aggressive, I call it efficient! I am a lover of trash tv, almost cat mom to a little baby Sphinx and lover of integrating the color black into any and all color palettes. I have a love for tiny details and making sure the biggest day of your life runs as smoothly as possible and that we have a kick ass time through the sometimes stressful planning process. My most used planning app is my reminders app, gmail and we use Aisle Planner to organize our couples weddings. We think it’s been the best addition to our client experience. I am recently engaged and made myself my own profile on Aisle Planner and it was quite the trip. My biggest goal for the beginning of this year is expanding the company so I can have an army of little Payton’s running around the state of Colorado doing some bad ass weddings! I can

What’s up what’s uppp? My name is Payton and I’m the owner of Promise Event Planners! I don’t always eat sushi while I work, but I will literally use any excuse to! We’ve got some new homies here so I figured it was time to formally (or not so formally) introduce myself! I am a Colorado native, true crime addict and lover of all things a little bit different. When I’m not planning kick ass weddings I am usually skating around on my roller skates or curled up on the couch watching trash tv. I am a sucker for a wild bouquet of flowers, a color palette that includes touches of black, a well placed lounge set up and the tiniest of tiny details. I think my clients hire me for my personality as well as my almost 7 years of experience as a planner. In our initial consultation I will joke around with you endlessly and spout off my crazy ideas but I know when things need to be a bit more serious. I will call your parents mom and dad and will gladly boss around anyone and everyone that deserves it. It’s literally my job. My work is made by the relationships I create with my couples, their families and my besties in the industry. Since I’ve grown up here and had my entire career here, I am super familiar with the venues and vendors all across the state and have had time to foster relationships with the best of the best. If this year has taught me anything it’s how important relationships in general are and how deeply I love my clients and want them to be happy at any cost. It’s my clients happiness that drives me, forces me to think abstractly and makes me want to work harder to make all their wedding dreams come true. I hope you feel like you know me a tiny bit better! If there’s a questions I didn’t answer ask me in the comments! I’m an open book baby!

Well not every ceremony can go exactly as you planned. Huyen was wearing a traditional Vietnamese head dress during their ceremony and when Joshua went in for the kiss he knocked it right of her head. This ceremony was so personal and authentically them. Mistakes and all.

On my way to plan your wedding! But on wedding day I’ll definitely have a clipboard in my hand and won’t be wearing heels. Heels girls I don’t know how you do it, but I’m super jealous. On wedding days, I bring three different pairs of shoes with me. Sneakers for set up, flats for the formalities and vans for the dance party. Changing my shoes multiple times in a night makes standing for 15 hours way more bearable. Vendor friends...what shoes do you wear to weddings?!
