Every couple of years I get the honor of capturing / birthday photos. She’s already a talented photographer, but every few years she promises her clients that she’ll be on the other side of a camera so that she can be reminded of how it feels to have the camera pointed at her. The nerves. The anxiety. The awkwardness. It’s a brilliant idea that I need to follow suit on.

Have you ever sat around and thought about how privileged you are to know certain people? I do…. Often. and more specifically gathers incredibly deserving female twice a year for a week long of learning to snowboard.

Along with snowboarding, there’s a ton of growth, laughter, tears and healing that take place. Every clinic I’m blown away at the sacrifices these women have made/continue to make for their country and families.

So blessed and thankful that I have the honor to be a small part of such an incredible experience.

Love knows no age. These two just tied the knot at a quiet private lake. Just the three of us and their cute little dog who didn’t make it it many photos because he was more interested in the wildlife than the celebration 😂😍

Calm mountain mornings before a wedding are so relaxing. It feel like my brain and body understand the upcoming tasks and energy expenditure and force themselves to take in and enjoy calm and quiet mornings like this.

🐾 There's nothing quite like the bond between a human and their dog. 🐶❤️ Every adventure becomes more special with her by my side. Whether it's hiking through trails, splashing in the lake, or just enjoying a sunset, she makes every moment unforgettable. Here's to many more adventures and endless love!

Just wrapped up the first women’s veteran snowboarding clinic held at
Such an incredible week full of laughter, healing and growth. Every single lady vet showed up with an open mind and open heart. They bonded almost right away and I have a feeling they’ve all made friends for life.
Just like every other clinic, each lady not only received airfare, housing for the week, lift tickets for the week, and memories…. They also get to take all of their snowboarding gear home with them so they can continue enjoying their new sport with friends and family.
Sometimes I think people don’t quite understand how difficult it is to leave a charity trip with a new found passion and love for something, only to be hindered by the financial burden of trying to stay in that activity. Most trauma survivors don’t come out the other end with a padded bank account. But at we ensure each participant gets to have the chance to continue their activity when they leave which is an absolute game changer.
Healing and growing your community is a lengthy process and we are so happy to be able to provide a lot of those resources to different groups of people. But our way of doing things, while incredibly effective, isn’t cheap. So if you have the means, please consider donating to by clicking the link in their bio after you follow them/us.
