It is with heavy hearts that we have made the difficult decision to close our Sidney Flowers of Deposit location effective February 17, 2024. Unfortunately, due to the current economic ups and downs that we have all been faced with, it has also been difficult for small businesses. We wish to extend a heartfelt THANK YOU to all of our customers that have supported our business these past 3 1/2 years. Our team was humbled yet again to participate in this year’s Petal It Forward event!
We handed out 120 bouquets between Sidney, Deposit, Bainbridge and Afton. It was wonderful to see and hear the sincere appreciation from so many people when they received their bouquets. It’s always a day we mark on our calendar to look forward to and now can’t wait till next year.

Sidney High School student Francisco LaBoy Diaz has turned his passion for crafts into a line of handmade greeting cards. In 2021, Francisco started making greeting cards when a patron donated some surplus craft stamps to the school through Ms. Kerrie Johnston, an administrator at Sidney Central School District. Francisco designed and created Christmas cards to sell to family, friends, and the school community. From there, Francisco's Creations, his business, was born.

Francisco is currently making a line of Valentine's Day cards. These elegant, small-batch, handmade cards are now exclusively available at Sidney Flowers and Gifts in downtown Sidney, NY and Sidney Flowers of Deposit.

Birthday, Mother's day, and Thank You cards are sure to follow. Keep an eye out for Francisco's striking and elegant handmade greeting cards next time you are shopping at Sidney Flowers and Gifts.
