French Wedding at DerbyShire October 8th 2023. Talk about a AMAZING, TRULY LOVING EXCEPTIONAL EVENT.
THEY DID IT THEIR WAY, and creatively together we made it all happen. The October seasons beauty only second to our Makenzie the stunning bride. The bridesmaids fall colored dresses were gorgeous with the fall flowers adorned with pumpkins and a lovely tree wooden trellis made by Makenzies father. Priceless!

Happy fall from DerbyShire! I treasure the seasonal flowers that adorn DerbyShire. I recently had a very wonderful time spent with a friend that took me to Thorpes farm where she does a food share. They are family owned organic farm store and fields filled with organic treats. We sat down on a picnic table and had the most delicious coffee and raspberry scones homemade. Then we went into the fields and picked the wildflowers that you see in my post. Thank you Mel what an amazing afternoon! Simply gorgeous. Only second to the your company!🎃

Incredible summer and fall at DerbyShire! Apple trees produce delicious apples, which you have to run out and get before deer get them. I lost a pear tree sadly but I planted four new pear trees, three new apple and two peach trees. So now I have a very scary scarecrow, who even scares me!!! He’s there to protect my little orchard that I’m growing. still painting like crazy I’m going to have to have an art show. I can’t house any more of my works. I told Daniel we need a bigger house. He said no way. LOL!

So proud of my girls and my horses. Delaney and BLU rocked it yesterday. They had so much fun and it was so exciting Blu such a good boy. My other girl that I adore Morgan unfortunately broke her toes, jumping off a dock 😳, so she and Luna could not compete, but she’ll be back in the saddle again she’s tough. So proud of all of you.❤️

Beautiful DerbyShire Peonies , I adore the laughter of all the beautiful daisies in the fields dancing and laughing around the gates and arenas. My other love is the sun hitting the fragrant colorful peonies as I open all the windows to let that fragrance in which is a parfum I could never forget.

I’m celebrating Blu. He makes me smile and some days he makes me crazy, such a CHARACTER!!! I always say …it was truly an accident as I believe he was meant to come into this world as a golden retriever 🌈❤️

WHAT A RIDE … Literally. The summer was a complete whirlwind as we were absolutely delighted to be involved with the Buffalo filming of CABRINI. The film tells the story of Francesca Cabrini, one of the greatest entrepreneurs of the 19th Century. She began with nothing and created the largest multinational charitable empire the world had ever known. Her accomplishments equaled the likes of Vanderbilt and Rockefeller.

The film is entirely filmed in Buffalo with the exception of two days of shooting in Rome. Starring as Mother Cabrini is Cristiana Dell'Anna, known for her role in "Gomorrah." What an amazing wonderful woman most kind and thoughtful as she stayed in our Tuscany RV during her filming and as a gift she bestowed to us in the RV the Lockett that she wears throughout the movie as Mother Cabrini.

Other equally wonderful cast members include opera star Rolando Villazon who I watched in awe not only for his incredible Opera singing but his wonderful sense of humor! What a fun loving man that kept us all laughing. David Morse, John Lithgow and Montserrat Espada also starring and wonderful to meet.

It was so wonderful to see so many friends and family as extras in the movie. Everyone looked fabulous and the Buffalo locations stunning. I’m so fortunate to have met so many amazing people developing new friendships with people all over.

As the movie took place in 1800’s we enjoyed an array of breathtaking carriages stored and DerbyShire. Riding down Sturgeon Point horse and carriage I was in my glory. It was wonderful to look out of the kitchen window and see my horses with 14 other gorgeous movie horses all happily grazing.

I must confess the over the top was looking out the kitchen window and not seeing the movie horses. At first panic and then we followed a deer path and they were all swimming in the neighbors pond. Simply BREATHTAKING!
