Founded by Morgana Moon, it showcases eccentric acts, dazzling performances, and captivating oddities, embracing all things weird, wild, and wonderful.

We went to Broadway last night and it was a dream come true. Thank you to our amazing cast. You all brought the love and spirit of Broadway to Des Moines, and we will never forget how magical it was.

To everyone who came out last night, THANK YOU for being there! Your support is why we are able to keep bringing these events to Des Moines, and it means the world to us.

Thank you to our live painter, Katie Gazzo. The piece she created was absolutely incredible, and we were able to auction it off for $300. The proceeds were split between Des Moines Mutual Aid Fund and Iowa Trans Mutual Aid.

Remember, art is resistance. Keep going.

🎭✨ While we applaud the stars shining onstage at Rhythm & Pep Presents: A Night On Broadway, let's not forget the unsung heroes behind the scenes.

These dedicated professionals are the backstage pass to a successful show. So when you see them hustling and bustling, remember to show your appreciation!

Amberly Dal is using her genius to transform the space to feel like a night on Broadway. She always puts her heart into her projects, and Rhythm & Pep is so lucky to have her as part of the team!

Coming to us from Ames, Juniper Nightshade will be our tip kitten for the evening! You can find her with the signature gold R&P hat collecting tips for our entertainers! She is also one heck of an amazing performer. Find her on socials to see where you can catch her next!

Last, but most certainly not least, we have Thunder as our stage hand (aka, stage puppy!), which is a huge task to set and clear the stage for such a huge cast. We are grateful for you, Thunder!

In October, you may have seen Tori perform a number themed around the story of Stephen King’s “Carrie” which included a bucket of corn syrup blood and a kiddie pool, showing off her acting chops on top of her vocals. Another new face to Rhythm & Pep, but no stranger to the stage, we are excited to welcome Envy Elise Frost to Rhythm & Pep Presents: A Night On Broadway next Sunday March 23rd at xBk Live! 🎟🔗 in comments!

Known as Iowa’s favorite and deadliest sin, Envy Elise Frost is a local trans drag performer based out of Iowa city but got her start in the East Village located in Downtown Des Moines. Before doing drag, Envy was an avid theatre performer and briefly studied it at the University of Northern Iowa. Envy is very excited to flex her musical theatre muscles for the first time in a while!

That's right. We're talking about Rhythm & Pep Presents: A Night On Broadway on March 23rd at xBk Live!

Come hungry, because Mala’s Kitchen will be there serving up delicious food! We will have themed drink specials, including an NA drink special, and of course a stellar lineup of amazing Broadway/Musical Theater inspired acts. 🎭🎤💃

Dress as your favorite Broadway character for a chance at a cash prize in the costume contest! And don't forget about our lip sync battles. This one will be epic!

A portion of proceeds will go to Des Moines Mutual Aid, as well as the proceeds from our live artist auction. 🤝

Chacha Heelz Daytona is the reigning queen of Chaos. Although she's pretty new to burlesque, she is no stranger to the stage. Be it "appropriate" jokes at ren faires, or stripping down to her skivvies, she's here to make you smile.
