Wedding and birth videographer here to tell your story! How did 3 Words Films come about you ask? Where do I begin?

I (Renee) was the girl that had her wedding dress picked out at the age of 10, and spent her nights laying in bed watching wedding highlight videos instead of Disney channel or Netflix. I found myself distracted in school daydreaming about my wedding day, and hoped I one day would experience that once in a lifetime moment, and have a way of capturing it and remembering it forever. ts eventually led me to the love of my life (Alex) who after 6 years, jumped into my photography business (Renee Stohr Photography - check me out!!!) and made my dream of doing videography an absolute reality in a matter of a couple of months. We closed our eyes, held our breaths, refused to look at our bank accounts (and still do!) and made a leap of faith together. Now we offer a number of videography services, and I find myself at a loss of words almost daily at this dream come. It has been nothing short of life's biggest challenge so far to operate a small business beginning at age 19 and growing our business into our 20's. Our favorite part about life is living it to the fullest, and better yet, helping YOU remember the big moments when you were living your own life to its fullest. Your wedding day happens once, your babies are only born once, and you only have 1 life to live. Let us capture those moments so you will always have a highlight video to go back on and refresh your mind and emotions of the biggest and best days of your lives. Our Story

I’ve sat here 20 minutes now trying to decide which part of my “story” I should begin with. So here it goes.

You guys. I was that girl that had that cliche Pinterest board full of wedding details by the age of 13. I hands down had every ounce of my wedding planned by the time I was 15 years old working at a restaurant with MAYBE $50 to my name. I didn’t stay up late binge watching tv shows or sneaking out of the house, instead I was obsessed with wedding videos. And when I say obsessed, I mean like a dog who smells bacon obsessed. Anyone seen ‘My Strange Addiction’? Yeah, my strange addiction was watching wedding videos, and dreaming about that day. I clung to the value of capturing the most important day of your life before I even knew what my future would hold.

And then... I met a guy.

That ‘guy’ changed the game for me. Lucky for me, I was 14 at the time and found myself now watching these wedding videos for hours on end, picturing my future with ‘that guy’ who's name happens to be Alex. Or Al. Or Alexander (His name changes with my mood!). Fast forward through about seven years of both fortunate and unfortunate events and you will find us both today living life together with our husky pup (my world), finishing up our adventure at Iowa State, ENGAGED, and yes.... making wedding videos. Goosebumps, full circle, the whole shebang.
